Wow, suddenly disappointed with the leader class toy combination
Fort Max:
Damn that's sexy, if only the toy version was half that good looking.
Exquistely engineered voyager two pack please Hasbro!
Sso02V:
I hope this is the kind of stuff that's gonna be in the movie art book.
Gears:
That third pic is epic.
samtastic:
Wow! That's all crazy epic gundam crazy awesome looking!
Love how his height and proportions are made SO much grander by this combination. And the framing of his red and blue bits by the black work so nice here. Very all-American...
Look how much smaller his head is in proportion to his body. He looks freaking HUGE!!! I agree that the toy doesn't do justice. Here is one instance where I'll want the robot replica of this - or, more importantly (because I loves them so) the ROBOT HEROES Version!
SAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!

THIS!
Fort Max:
Forget robot replicas, I'll wait and see what statues and fixed pose figures get made by thrid parties.
DeathscytheFish:
He's literally standing on huge platforms of Jetfire's feet, it's why he's so freakin' tall.
Faded-Myth:
Haha. Primefire wears platform shoes.
Seriously though, that's pretty damn awesome.
samtastic:
Check out how cool the Mixmaster image is. You can see how this is an early concept piece - notice how the wheel sections on his arms are pasted in and roughly composited/painted over. Love how rough and conceptual this piece is. Probably from early in the process, as the color also looks different.
I like his general design, yet I question the choice to keep the mixing drums in 4 pieces the way they are. At least make them form cool arm shapes or shoulder pads or arm gauntlets. Maybe that's what they are meant to be, but it's hard to tell in this off pose.
Still, the artist in me loves this rough concept piece the most - hope to get piles more like this in the 'art of' book I wish I had yesterday!

It's like he's in a Mobile Battle Suit! LOL & awesome!
Faded-Myth:
I kinda like the drum parts being somewhat large and solid. Besides probably making a decent shield of sorts, it's nice to see some large, recognizable parts amongst the usually tiny, intricate mechanics.
BurnZ:
The 3rd picture has been posted on here already.
But the first 2 haven't.
hungrycat:
hey guy....something you must have ignored.....
these pics are FIRSTLY posted on the site of tfg2.com ......you should make it clear in the first place....or at least...respect the one who first posted the pics and respect yourself....
Nemesis Liger:
*whistles* Woah, Prime is looking freakin' awesome there. Truely.
I-I can't wait to see this awesomeness on the big screen.

I second that statement.
Keroshino:
Oh SHI-
Prime is Packin!!!
OperaSingerPrime:
That is quite awesome looking. Can't to see that in action on the big screen. I can't believe how one picture can make me start to want the toys... I'm such a sucker... I loves my plastic crack!!!
brawl569:

brawl569:
ledgends looks pretty mutch like this so il pick thoose up 2day
Peaugh:
Wowza!! Glad I got the figs and enjoyed that awesome before his pic showed up. I still love the figures, but they're definitely not quite as bad-assly awesome as that.
eisen:
Can you say "gundam"?
shumworld:
I really like how Gundamy Movie Jet Prime looks.
boris1162:
i like it but i think prime is very messy it look like thay just put any of jetfire parts on him 2 me it looks abit 2 much and is that really a cgi of mix marster coz if it is im disserpointed
billcosby:
Umm.... Mixmaster himself looks freaking amazing.
Wallet: Heavy sigh... looks like "ignoring the movie toys" got a lot harder. And after yesterday's toasterbots.
aww_jazz:
Some company like Bandai should have toys authorisation for transformers. If ''Hasbroke'' keep on giving us crap like the leader combiners which is nothing much than a brick. They should put more effort in dismantling jetfire. The current one are just jetfire climbing on prime !!!!! Its obvious crap.
The leader for both prime and jetfire is very good no doubt. But if they can just dismantle jetfire into 3~4 part to form the legs and back pack that would be great. instead they are just pure lazy. As long as the two lego pieces connects and thats it.
I still yet to go into the weapon. Look at the CGI ones. its hell of a gundamists weapon. MY god Hasbroke just spoil it by giving a pathetic gun with missiles. !!!!! F..ck hasbroke. For all the money they are earning please use some of it in getting some Gundam designers for the improvement or spend it for some researching for god sack.. Cheap plastics, lazy paint apps.
Mind you second prime and jetfire will come out with chrome paints '' the premium version''
The truth is I can go on and on and on about this stupid Hasbroke !!!!!
But i still loves them, because they are the only ones making legit transformers.
I support them to make the legacy of transformers can go on......
Big players like Gundam or japanese toys makers deserve to be part of Transformers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
inferno4565:
Fapalicious indeed! Mixmaster looks good too.
God if only the figure could look as good, that there is quality my friends.
Now if we can get a Megatron/Starscream combo in TF3 that would be cooooool....
Richard Prime:
wow just freaking good that what I call a superbot damn if the toy were that good I get and mixmaster too this movie will rock hard great artwork, I hope we can play Jet Prime in the game because I just owned everybody
shroobmaster:
@aww_jazz: Partsforming is 276372637263726372 times lazier than what Hasbro gave us, and seriously, if we had a Leader toy with as many joints and hinges needed to combine Jetfire would have to cost around 80 dollars instead 45.
You really know jacks*** about toy design if you think that designing gundam statues and models kits is as hard as not just designing but ENGINEERING transformers, it takes alot more effort to create safe, transformable and articulated toys than a HURR U CAN SNAP LOTS OF ARMORZ gundams.
Oh by the way, TAKARA HELPS HASBRO WITH EVERY DESIGN so they do have a japanese toy-maker in the mix.
Orbital:
This won't last long :S
Blitz.:
man this stuff puts the toy to shame
thygriever:
OMG OMG OMG OMG you do not know how long i've waited for this! thanks guys! i remember when the silohette first came out i was constantly rechecking tfw for the real images but the never came. now the wait is over and i love them.
They better look this good in the movie cuz the toy IS a let down imo. Just look at that art, it's freakin awesome seriously.. wth happened with the toy. i guess i have to give them credit for trying
SentinelPrime:
OK, seriously, that is all varieties of awesome. I love how it's so serious...not childish. It looks like it could hold it's own with anime's best.
L-O-V-E
Alienbot:
And to think such badassery will have such short screentime...

Word. I hope some fanboys and 3rd parties do some nice japanese-esque statues for this guy. it's too awesome to pass up
Takara_destron:
Now THAT looks badass!
starscream1701:
Pleasure beyond measure!
We seriously need a better name than Power-Up Optimus Prime or Primefire for this. OPTIMAL PRIME!
Scourge_151:
Yowza!
I don't know how they would've managed this perfectly in toy form unless Jetfire was a supreme size at least.

We need more of these! They're awesome, and we haven't really seen much of the new robots this time...
Any chance your source can get some of the art for the other robots we haven't really seen yet, like the other Constructicons & the Arcee bikes?

Looking back at Transformers history, there is far, far worse. This is in fact possibily the coolest looking 1+1 combination we've ever seen in the franchise.

Very true, perhaps we'll get super lucky and Hasbro will pull out a surprise at Botcon, a deluxe Prime, Ultra Jetfire set with the emphasis firmly on the combined form would be awesome.
