Bernie Mac Dead at Age 50

One of the funniest guys ever, he was a real class act. It's sad he's gone, and at such a young age. He was also finally gaining mainstream popularity, with Transformers and the Ocean movies. I am really gonna miss this guy.

This is terrible news. Bernie Mac is a legend with his work in comedy and his TV series and barious acting roles. It's hard to see a legend move on, but he's definitely in a better place now. RIP Uncle Bobby B.

I'm not a very religious person, but I'm also not a atheist by any means... but if there is a god, one thing is for sure: He really doesn't want us to be very happy.

He was always in a out of the hospital the last few years battling his Lung disease. Which make me nervous having asthma. Any one with any lung complication or disease the worst thing to get is Pneumonia. Not only are you battling your overall lung complication but also a infection and fluid in the lungs.

It's a shame he was a very talented actor and Comedian. I bout pissed myself at the " I'd bust your head with a rock Bit*h" Line from Transformers. And the Kings of Comedy is always funny no matter how many time I see it.

It's sad news indeed. It's always sad to see these people leave us (especially so young and early). It just shows you how fragile and fleeting life is and how you gotta just sometimes enjoy the moment and appreciate the friends/family around you, because you never know what will happen...

Yeah, wow, it took me a few moments to process it after seeing on the front page as well. I hadn't heard about the pnemonia stuff, but man... he sure was a funny guy, I loved the part of the TF Movie he was in. He'll be missed.

Easy. You come in contact with the bacteria that causes it. Not too difficult. It's everywhere. It's easier in winter or rainy seasons because your body defenses are already stressed trying to keep you warm. Once pneumonia settles in your lungs, it can be VERY difficult to get it out..

Pneumonia is a powerful disease that kills millions of people a year, but gets very little attention now days, thanks to much "fancier" killers like AIDS, cancer, etc.

I had pneumonia really bad once as a kid, and I had a fever of 103 degrees, couldn't breathe well, and felt horrid. I was put on all sorts of antibiotics and thankfully pulled thru. I still have some scarring on the lining of my lungs, and get winded rather easily, but I'm alive, almost 20 years later.
