Just joking. Anyway, why's he so tiny?
Dark_Convoy:
Cool that they are using a physical model, I always thought they looked better than CG.
Dirge121:
Scale model, like the ones they used in Star Wars for the space battles.
Jedah:
Very cool that not everything is gonna be cgi, that would make one hell of a collectors piece too General Magnus:
This would go well with that huge G1 Prime statue.
SMOG:
Wow, I know everyone says that there's no such thing as scale in Transformers, but this is ridiculous!

Omnibus Prime:
ZOMG Micromasters in teh movie!
Velcrohead:
He's a maquette, and it'll be used to shoot some flight scenes in miniature. Based on what people seem to know about movie magic, I wonder if someone out there actually thinks that the Star Trek people actually used a full-scale Enterprise? mblase: Quote:

It was 1:4 scale.
Kimmer:
alt mode isn't the problem. it's the abomination known as his bot mode.

Voyager Prime, Blackout, Ratchet, Ironhide, Concept BB, not to mention non-movie-appearing figures like Landmine, Stockade, Longarm and Dropkick were all good-to-AWESOME toys. Barricade gets a nod only for his sweet alt mode... the robot mode was kind of balls IMO.

About time he looks closer to his G1 mode than that F22 Raptor..It made him look way too bulky... Pauly T:
Want a scale model of Movie Screamer's bot-mode?
Some assembly required.
eyeballkid:
That's funny! mmmmmmmm....chicken!

Out of curiousity .... how is this a 'first look'. That usually implies we have not seen something before ... but we have seen this many times before.
NIDARAM12:
I will be VERY VERY happy if they have the balls to stick to their guns and use the same robot mode.
I LOVE movie Starscream, and I want to see/hear a lot more of him in the second film.
I know this is Hasbro and they need to sell toys and all, but we didn't get to see enough of SS imo.

The original was not perfect - I fully predict that if Starscream has a much bigger role, he'll get a new toy. He's one of the big four after all - one of the four who returns time and again (the others are Optimus, Megatron, and Hot Shot / Bumblebee - aka yellow car Autobot who feels he has something to prove.)
vektsilver:
He is so getting a Leader toy this time around. Possibley going to be an Ultimate as he will be the focus of part two seemingly.
Eric:
That better come out in toy stores. I SO want a person-sized Starscream. Dropshot:
I really wonder why they will use a model since nowadays the flight scenes are all made in CGI, and if they want to do scene where starscream is landed they could as well ask permission to use a real F-22 as inthe first film.
The only thing that pop in my mind is that they will blow up the model.
Orion_Prime48:
nah thats the toy for Ultimate Starscream so they can follow the crapiness of Ultimate BumbleBee Bahamut Prime:
Looks good!
Superion33:
I am thinking SS isn't going to be manipulating anything in this movie - seeing as he has gun barrels for hands. I don't see him pushing any buttons or grabbing anything. Don't get me wrong, he'll def be fine in the battles shooting and blowing up stuff. I think even if he had the opportunity to pick up the shard of the Allspark, he'd probably have to ask for help from someone else to pick it up. Or maybe he can use his feet to pick it up?

unless I missed the one G1 episode where Optimus was unable to help because his fists fell out of their sockets, and Bumblebee couldn't walk anywhere because he had two legs but only one foot.

Huh?...he's got hands, alright. The one scene where he transforms and lands in that city street, one of his hands transforms into a a machine gun that he uses to attack Ratchet and Ironhide with. Also, in the aerial battle against the human flown F-22s, his claws slices one or two of them apart.
However, in the IDW 'Reign of Starscream', SS manages to pick up the Sector Seven jeep with his feet...just like a bird catches prey with its talons.
Locke:
If Starscream plays a larger role in TF2, I'm hoping that he gets both a Leader and a deluxe toy. I picked up the voyager many times, and despite liking the robot, I really didn't like how bulky the vehicle mode was (or the incorrect vertical stabilizers).
Dran0n:
Cool! Hope the toy has hands!
Shaba:
I'd be really surprised (and dissapointed) if Hasbro doesn't make a leader-class SS for TF2.

Starscream NZ:
I'll assume that a leader class Starscream toy will have fingers/a hand, but have a automorph gimmick that allows a missile launcher to cover his hands, much like Prime's, although hopefully more hidden than Primes was.
Sound Blaster:
It's not the same F22 they modified it to look more like the G1 Screamer.. Quote:
