COOL! G1 and ROTF Prime on one trophy!
Weekend Gamer:
That is a sweet trophy.
TRANS+CRAZY:
That is SO sweet! Michael Bay deserved it.
shroobmaster:
As once the wise prophet said

"Haters, beware!"
Razorwing:

He'll claim that the TF creator isn't a true fan!
The Primes:
Only one thing can describe this:

Magmatron22:

SPLIT LIP:

He'd probably say that he designed Diaclones, and thus isn't a true TF fan or some other shit like that. Either that, or he would try to call him a traitor or sell out or something stupid.
Switch625:
Nah, he calls the TF creators and everybody at Takara, past and present, "head geeks".
G1Wheeljack:
That's a sweet trophy.
TUROK1134:
Those Japanese sure do love robots.
guard convoy:
he deserves it entirely, i don't care what haters say, if it wasn't for the 2007 movie, transformers wouldn't be having the new golden age we are having right now. in fact who knows where transformers would of been without that movie.....so thank you michael bay....thank you for the awesomeness

that said.....i want that trophy lol
Mr.Roboto:
OOOoooo, is that a Lucky Draw item??!!!
starscream-99:
Thats is awesome. I want one.
saberconvoy:
one really cool trophy
jgoss:
Bay is the man cant wait til ROTF
Powersa:

UMC:
Sooo sexy!........................The trophy that is, and once again Bay did it!!
benzo:
awesome to the max!!!!
Wingsbr:
rock on. I was impressed with TF1 and ROTF should be awesome as well. Took a minute to adjust, but overall it's the movie verse the way it should be...over the top!!!
Sol Fury:
It's an award that is richly deserved. Love it or hate it, you cannot deny that the live action movie series has brought Transformers more into the mainstream than it has been since the line's creation and turned it into a massive franchise phenomenon with real mainstream appeal.

Hopefully it is not the last award for Michael Bay and company either. An academy award or two would be plain perfect.

Can someone post a youtube link for this guy? I love fanboy rants (chadwarden the Ps3 fanboy and that guy who was practically crying because ff13 was no longer ps3 exclusive were two highlights)
Black Oracle:
Love him or hate him, Michael Bay really did bring TFs onto the cinema screens in a big way! I think he defintely deserves an award for breathing new life into the franchise.

Not trying to be critical of the films or Bay, but every time I hear the "love it or hate it, they made it huge/brought it back" argument, I'm reminded of this (well, the first 2 minutes anyway)

Dead is Better - Clips - South Park Studios
knoted:
Well, nice trophy and all... and so far, nice ... very nice ROTF toys.... but I won't have a final 'judgement' until I've seen ROTF myself.
Omegus Prime:
Okay, not defending that trophy, all they did was take a couple recent Prime toys and glue them in place on a block of wood. Still, it's well deserved.

AH that clip is fuckin hilarious! However I do not think this was the case with TF

No, Peter Cullen deserves this award.

Just because Mr. Bay brought our favorite robots to the big screen doesn't mean he gets an awrd for anything.

Wow, I WANT that trophy!

Yes it does, in fact, he just won it.
AniProwl:
More I think about it. It's just a Japanese award. It's not like he win Best Director in any of those channel awards or Oscar.
shroobmaster:
It still means he's supremely awesome as far as Transformers goes B)

Now if only Marty and Derick would get prizes too... but I guess flopped CN shows ain't qualified.

Saying what you said right now is like how people credit Bob Kane for creating Batman when in reality Bill Finger created it. The guys who created the idea and concept of Transformers deserve it, not the guy who just brought them to the big screen. If Bay got this award, so should the director of first TMNT film who did the same for the Ninja Turtles, not Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
imranbecks:
Congratulations Michael Bay.. He deserves it for what he has done to Transformers for the big screen... The trophy looks cool and to have the vintage G1 toy Optimus Prime beside the movie Prime is a nice touch... You guys notice though that the movie Prime "statue" is in fact a TakaraTomy version of ROTF Leader Optimus Prime right? Lol.. Wonder if its removable so Bay can play with it...hahaha
shroobmaster:
Stop being bitter, this isn't just the big screen, he revived it, he turned 80's nostalgia property into a gigantic blockbuster, he REVIVED it as a mainstream product instead of just badly animated ANIMES that parents have to endure, TMNT movie wasn't as big as bayformers was, no other TF franchise after g1 did what this did.

P.S. the guys who created it can't exactly win it, considering they're the ones giving it out.

Then give it to Aaron Archer, Brian Goldner, whoever was the guy who made the TF toon in the frst place, or give it to the true driving force behind these movie: Steven Speilberg, not the director of movies like Pearl Harbor and Armageddon.

And this will really pump up Mr. Bay's ego.

As if seeing his name three time during the TV spots as well as hearing Transformers: A Michael Bay film at the end of those spots. Man, what is he trying to be like Ted Turner?
Railguard:
Congrats Mr. Bay!!! Keep up the awesome TF movies!!!
thygriever:
i think this officially means Bay wins. Wins what? wins everything..
Ktulu:
If it had been his initial idea to do the movies at all, if it'd been him that wrote them, if all the robots were his direct designs rather than just whatever he approved, maybe then I'd say you guys acting like he's the only person in the world responsible for the popularity of TFs now are right, but as is, nah. I think he's getting a bit too much of the credit. The dude didn't even want the gig at first. Plus, it's not as if Transformers was some dead brand that hadn't been heard from in ages anyway, the "he REVIVED it!" stuff is kind of overblown.

Also, the movies could've easily wound up directed by someone else. Spielberg could've asked any director under the sun. Sure, you can say "but he asked Bay, Bay is the chosen one!!!" but that doesn't mean he's the only guy that could've shot the thing. You think if they HAD gone with someone else it would've been some massive failure with Transformers disappearing forever? I really doubt that.
Dropshot:
I bow before bay

It's the "Thanks for sending all that money our way!" award, and well deserved.
The Crazy Collector:
Anyone know how I can contact Mr. Bay? I want to try and buy that trophy from him. It is seriously awesome!

Anyway, well done, and well deserved, in my opinion!
frilly toothpick:

congrats on the recognition mr bay. it s well deserved.
Dran0n:
Wish I had that trophy. Looks awesome!

Why? So what if all Bay brought the robots to the big screen. All Peter Cullen did was read some sheets of paper.

See kids? Hyperbole is fun!
