Apparently, Shia isn't just visiting the set as some have speculated and is indeed back at work filming scenes for the movie. I can't think of any other reason he'd need a makeup lady applying dust to his backside. Yeah, it does look more like a pyramid than a cliff. Looks like the one from the G1 episode where Thundercracker calls Starscream a geek.

My guess is a decepticon appears at the pyramids and starts blowing things up.

Of course they can't send real chunks of the pyramid tumbling, so a model is used instead.

Anybody notice the house behind the "pyramid" as you are all calling it? A wider angle of that shot would most likely reveal what it's really supposed to be.

It most likely *is* a pyramid, the "house" in the background is just the lot they're filming on and will not be in the final shot. They will be compositing a new background in post.
