I've got the original release, and it looks like I'll be getting this one too for the new deco/Targetmaster.

EDIT: Hold up a sec..... that's not MP Rodimus' Matrix there, is it? If memory serves, his is smaller, AND this one has the joints to open!

Looks like he has the MP Prime Matrix to me.

And he comes with a repaint of Prime's Matrix, as well. Wonder if he still has the smaller one. Probably.

I like the toy-styled leg deco. Red boots, with the silver shin plate and the arrows. And I like the flame deco on the chest a lot better than the original, cartoon accuracy aside.

Not fond of the flame changes on the chest but he will be mine. I guess they couldn't trademark Firebolt though, glad he comes with him though as well as all his non-trailer accessories.

Colors are considerably different than MP-09. He looks to be more toy accurate than cartoon accurate. That targetmaster is... odd. He is too big and there is no way that Roddy will be able to hold him, the hands are too frail.

Probably. MP Starscream's Hasbro release was better.

This is probably why the MP Rodimus second release has the reportedly superior QC - odds are they had to do tweaks for Hasbro anyway.

If they tweaked the tolerances with the hand grips, then there shouldn't be any problems. With a thin layer of superglue on the tabs, my Takara Roddy can hold his combined rifle without issues, one-handed.

Bought for the Target Master alone.

And it is good to finally get confirmation on this guy. I always intended on the Takara Rodimus and Hasbro Hot Rod.

Fucking Toys R Us exclusive, there is no fucking Toys R Us around here, doubly so after I fucking move next month. Not to mention the times I have been able to get to the closest TRU to me, they don't fucking ever get their damn exclusives. Never saw Grimlock, never saw Animated Arcee, never saw Animated Rodimus.

Christ, why not make it a Target exclusive? Hell he comes with a TARGETmaster! I work at Target, that would make it so damn convenient for me. Or even Walmart, I have a buddy that works there.

I much prefer the toy colours to the show colours anyway. Offshoot is also a great little bonus. Im surprised how much paint this thing looks to have on it.

I am so glad i waited for this and did not even think about getting the Takara version. I love that he will still include the guns and the matrix and the target master is a very fair trade off for the missing trailer, that, in my opion, is kind of a waste and would just be put back into the box if i did have one. Hasbro does it right again. Now where is THUNDERCRACKER!!! If history has told us anything, they should release him for Christmas of this year right? That is what they did for Starscream and Skywarp.

Also bought. Hoping the QC changes get rolled into it. I can't imagine they wouldn't unless they produced all of them a while ago. but sine the Rodimus QC issues were very early on, I believe they will be. Takara's MP was too expensive this time around, i had to break the cycle.

Wow you might need to take it down a notch there buddy. Here's an idea, ask a board member to help you out. It works for most people that aren't near an exclusive store or even people in other countries.

I'm pretty excited about this guy but the price will probably stop me from buying it on the spot. I really like that it will be cheaper than a version with a trailer and he can turn into Rodimus. Wonder about the Targetmaster and if he will fit as a driver in any Alt/MP sized bots

I hope TRU has more of these in stock than MP Grimlock.
