Transformers Masterpiece MP-19 Bluestreak

With the recent news that MP-17 would be Prowl and MP-18 would be Smokescreen, it seemed inevitable that the third of the Autobot Datsun Fairlady Z trio would get the Masterpiece treatment sooner or later, and the answer is: sooner! September 2013 will see the third Masterpiece release in as many months with MP-19 Bluestreak getting released that month. Like Prowl and Smokescreen, he's retailing for in the region of $79.99.

The only question that remains of course is which variant of Bluestreak shall it be, a toy accurate Silverstreak, an animation colors black roofed Bluestreak, or the more-likely-to-be-an-EHobby-release blue Bluestreak? Time and Japanese hobby magazine scans will tell.

I look forward to seeing these and the next large MP release. Who am I kidding, I'm excited for the entire line.

Im glad they are putting all these autobots out but damn they could give us a new mold in between... Its like they make a new design and right away they wanna squeeze out all the repaints.

With me already getting Prowl and Smokescreen, this figure being silver with black hood will be the deciding factor if I triple dip into this mold. My very first car were in those colors so that's really the only reason I'm even considering it

I imagine it's gonna have to be a Decepticon, and a prominent one at that given he's MP-20.

It feels kind of obvious to me that they are going to go for the 84-85 cast with these MPs. New molds are without a doubt on the way ... let's be happy we're finally getting a ton of MPs.

My guess is a new Megatron mold. Since new Op was 10, Megs can be 20.

Very interesting that, at least for now, this is a fully numbered release. Means, unless BBTS or their distributor are currently wrong, Bluestreak will have some mold differences. I suspect this just means the Prowl mold minus light bar, but we shall see.

Agree with this list, though Galvatron seems highly unlikely for the foreseeable future. I'd say Ultra Magnus is still possible as well. A car carrier to go with all the autobot cars. Either him or Shockwave seem most likely to me.

This makes me very very happy! I'm loving this scale and the transformation on these cars are amazing! Looking forward to these, FT-03, and Blaster at the end of the year. (you know its either that or Shockwave)

GALVATRON please. We all know there will be another additional repaints of this mould. If the sale on those can't pay for one brand new mould, perhaps Takara should get out of this game especially considering that the FT price is on the MP level.

This will probably be silver with the black hood, ala the animation style. Blue will be an ehobby exclusive

Bluestreak should look exactly like the robot in the original catalog. Mostly blue with silver on the hood. Otherwise I will wait and order something else.

The more I think about it, it would make sense for MP-20 to be Megatron. Optimus Prime was MP-10 after all.

Probably because they've been released before, so sales won't be as high as totally new releases, and the cars are repaints as well anyway.
