Transformers Cybertron Satellite Display in Japan - Prime Orion Pax, Masterpieces and More!

This new display reveals a few things we did not know about these releases, such as the fact that Arms Micron Wheeljack will come with both an Arms Micron sword and one of the normal swords from the Hasbro release. We've also got a clear look at the Bic Camera exclusive Orion Pax, the Takara-Tomy release of the Deluxe class Optimus Prime from the First Edition two pack. These pictures reveal that Orion will feature the regular "masked" Optimus head rather than a retooled head, and Decepticon symbols.

That sucks. The only thing I want is Sideswipe. Something about Red Alert just seems... off.
It's meant to be electric shocks, like the ones he had in 'Auto Beserk'.

Yeah it's a nice touch although not sure if I'd display him with them on. Shame they don't show RA in lambo mode. All in all looking good.

I'm guessing there is going to be a second display - probably in whichever store it was getting Thundercracker - that will have a Decepticon bias and show off something like Thundercracker, United EX Constructicons, Gaia Unicron, Soundwave, Nemesis Prime and CyLAS Breakdown.

Part of me wants to pre-order Sideswipe and Red Alert, but the other part of me says these will hit U.S. shores for $44.99 each as store exclusives somewhere down the road. TRU or Walmart, perhaps?

I hate falling for weapons but it is so easy to do when they are a mcguffin in a show. I want that Star Saber but have no need for another Prime figure.

Hey, it adds to the esteem of Masterpieces that the transformation's too much for the merchandise/display crew! Ah, all kidding aside, they're probably battling the clock and just maybe aren't as passionate about Transformers as some of us here are. 
Still, I find it funny how - from the camera angle at least - it looks like they've gone to the trouble of dynamically posing Lambor/Sideswipe but the gesture is capped off by the weapon kind of drooping out of his hand, so it loks like he's shooting around a corner or at Frenzy/Rumble. So it ends u looking about as dynamic as someone fencing... with a bananna, haha.
Cool figures though, the mistransformations and so on don't bother me.

I have a question for everyone. Are the only differences between Red Alert's head and Sideswipes head the color and ears or is there some other remolding that I am not seeing in these pictures?

The top part of the head is different. I'm thinking the front of their head might be the same though. They look very similar, but yes the antennae are different and the top of the their head at the very least.

Orion Pax's deco is obviously based Cybertron Galaxy Force Optimus Prime's which also was the inspiration for TFA Elite Guard Optimus Prime.

Masterpieces are looking nice (mistransformations notwithstanding XD). That Takara Weaponizer OP looks great with that neat Star Saber contraption he has. I'm kinda hoping Reprolabels makes an 539 Aitalia sticker set for TFP Wheeljack. I'd pick up another of him (I have 2 already) just for that and keep him in alt mode. XD Neat that his AM version has both swords and the sword Micron (though I might have preferred it turned into his arm cannon instead).

I can sort of see where they might be coming from. You've got a show accurate red head, but toy accurate red legs. In effect the deco ends up being accurate to neither version. It's possible the legs might be fixed by release though.
Not something that bothers me (I doubt I'm getting Red Alert right away anyway) but I can see why if you are passionate about having one exactly as it is on the cartoon why it would be a bit of an issue.

Was hoping for at least a new head sculpt, but yeah. The only thing he has going for him is the blinged out golden arms micron sword. The Deluxe OP mold is pretty meh compared to the FE Voyager.

Can anyone confirm Sideswipe's release date? I heard that it was initially Sept-Oct, but it says on TFSource that it's November, and on BBTS it's December.

Sideswipe looks awesome, can't wait to have him. As for Red Alert, still disappointed by his red thigh. Looks like I'll be picking Red Alert when Hasbro release him at much cheaper price and hopefully they'll correct his color as well.
