Love the mold, my only gripe is that huge gap just above the door panel. I guess they couldn't fill it in or does it have a purpose?

That Red Alert looks AWESOME! I cannot wait to get these figures in my hand. ESPECIALLY SOUNDWAVE! Takara really outdid themselves on these figures.

I want to love that Red Alert, but man, those red legs are just killing it for me. Tough one to gamble on considering we don't know if Hasbro will release it, and if they do, what kind of alternate deco it might have. Hrmm.

Soundwave & Laserbeak = pure plastic crack. It's unreal how amazing they look.

Yup, they already confirmed it. There's even a pic out there somewhere of the unpainted prototype showing the camera flipped out.

Seeing how good Soundwave turned out makes me wish even harder for a MP Shockwave. Wish they would re-visit Starscream in a couple years with this new chunky style. As great as MP11 is he has a different design style to these newer MP's.

Really loving Sideswipe and the others, the wait for them is gonna be a killer.

I'd be more sold on Soundwave if he was a triple-changer with that lamppost altmode from the first episode

Soundwave does look awesome. I am more excited for Sideswipe, being my fav TF and Lambo model. Thinking I should get two Takara molds as I feel Hasbro will dull the red paint.

MP12 and Laserbeak are purely awesome! As for Soundwave, other than the lower leg and feet which I'm not fond off, the rest of him is beautiful. Can't wait to have MP12 and 13 once it's out.

I like Sideswipe...but it seems a bit much for a figure that looks to be smaller than a Binaltech. I'll bite on a half-priced Hasbro release, though.

Just remember for those thinking about a hasbro red alert - this is a figure with a lot of white and red - the 2 colours that they struggle with most. Compare all the recent white toys between takara and hasbro - there is a massive difference!

I was skipping these, but I love the characters, and the original g1 mould. Can I have clampdown, deepcover and tigertracks next please?

This man speaks the truth. Just look at the difference between the US and Japanese versions of Drift, for example.

The variations in white drive me crazy. I can't display United Jazz next to any other white figure thanks to his cheapening aura.

I would probably more so question if Hasbro even releases Red Alert. I think Sideswipe is fairly likely, but I'd be less confident about Red Alert.

Soundwave and Sideswipe are pretty damned close to perfect. Never cared for Red Alert as a G1 character and those colors don't really do it for me so he'll be a pass.

Now bring on more cassettes, more cars and Ultra Magnus!

Soundwave looks awesome. His feet look a little weird in silver, though. I think dark blue or black would have been better.

Is it bad that I'm more impressed with Laserbeak than Soundwave? I mean, Soundwave is AMAZING, but at heart he's just a more complex version of the G1 transformation. Laserbeak however, manages to not only get a new and amazingly more accurate transformation, but even has the guns on his back included in the cassette mode, not as accessories.
