Masterpiece Soundwave and Encore Fortress Maximus Delayed

Well, more time to save at least.

Thank goodness! I was wondering how to afford Soundwave with having to shop for Christmas presents. This will give me some time to recover and save the funds. And also same goes for Fort Max, more time to save.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm ok with this.

Interesting. So there was something to BBTS updating their ETA on Soundwave to January.

Oh well. A delay's fine. As others have said, more time to save.

With everything else coming out in the next month or two, I have no problem with Soundwave being delayed. Given that the Japanese release date is late January, BBTS probably won't get it until February and that's a lighter month for me.

Was kind of looking forward to Fort Max ASAP, though.

Just realized, if Alerts not delayed I can at least get him in December.

Hopefully they realized that their paint apps with Lambor were messy and there'd be some severe Nerdrage if this was duplicated with a much-more anticipated (and twice as expensive) figure.

Though Soundwave for Christmas would have been nice, I'm perfectly happy to accept this delay (assuming the paint apps are indeed better). Cool of them to give us a heads up like seven weeks early (rather than after the date passes).

I was never buying Fort Max, so no opinion.

Ah that's alright - I've just pre-ordered MP Red Alert to go with Sideswipe so he should tide me over until then.

Me thinks they backed it of due to the holidays and the volume of stuff coming out.

Each piece has its own month with this as well, at least main figure wise so I don't count the cassettes as heavy hitters in the $$$ dept(never said they were cheap either).

Bigger hits are always easier to absorb when bought spread out and they tend to sell better as well.

I'm actually good with this, especially if it means they're cleaning house with the constant QC issues.

Yeah; overall I'm glad for the delays. Means that those months are gonna be a bit lighter.

Oh well. I got a few preorders that'll come in in January anyway. It would've been hard leaving him in my PoL for a month.

As long as they are released I don't care about the delay. No money for them right now.

It's kinda funny that MP-14 is gonna come out before MP-13 now. But I'm cool with it, a month ain't that long.

Anyone remember how MP Rodimus was released around late Jan, and people suggested the rush to finish it for Chinese New Yr was part of the reason for the QC problems?

I'm disappointed for both cause I want my Fort Max and then later get my MP soundwave. I think some of the problem could have been that Takaratomy found out how many pre-orders there is for Fort Max and didn't have enough product made. So they had to make more product for all the people that pre-ordered. Plus this could be a good thing cause that might just change the way they think and they would possible release other product down the line later on in the year.

December is a very heavy month for me, and I am sure for many others. As much as I really want MP Soundwave in my hot hands, the delay is actually a blessing.

Good news, relieved for the delay. hopefully that will give Takaratomy some time to fix QC issues for both releases

Well Soundwave is already paid for but this officially ruins chrimbo for me as he was gonna be 50% of my presents.

The only positive I'm gleaning is the tapes are literally hot on his heels now so we'll have a complete set sooner.......unless they are delayed too.....

With this delay, Takara sets themselves up for a major release every month, for atleast the next 6 or so months

I don't mind at all. Matter of fact, it works out better for me.

I preordered with RobotKingdom so this is a pain in the ass. I also ordered MP12 and 14 with it so all 3 will be pushed back. I might just ask RK to change my order and get sideswipe now.

The slight irony is that i can now buy some 3P items i was putting off til January.

I'm pretty sure that when the Amazon Japan MP-13 was listed with an accutely limited quantity, I got straight onto RK and preordered one and that should mean it was paid for upfront. So no real saving benefits per se but my disposable income has well and truly recuperated, so I'll take that. To that another bonus is I didn't PO MP-14 at the same time, so he might arrive in the holliday season, maybe in ht nw year if I wait for some Takara FoC figures.

I'd like to have something arrrive before Christmas though. Hopefully the Voyager Artfires make it to BBTS in time for that.
