Wow, the roof and front headlight areas on Rodimus sure look off color wise. I have him preordered, and will be getting him, but I was hoping for a better color match. Little disappointed.

Do you have any of the US editions (atleast for Warpath) to compare the coloring to. I cancelled my preorder (and am thinking of doing the same for Roddy with that odd coloring. Warpath just doesn't look different enough for me to warrant a purchase at this time, but I would like to be proven wrong.

Man, I've been starring at all these Rodimus pics, and am seriously thinking of canceling my preorder. Im debating on just getting a classics and throwing the reprolables upgrade on it. I wanted a G1 Roddy, and even though I own two Henkei (one for the Protector armor) and the BIS version, I was hoping this would be more G1 accurate with the flames, and paint deco, but with that mismatch paint scheme I just don't know.

It really does look good in bot mode, but that odd paintscheme just does not come off well in car mode. I actually wouldn't mind having two of each version of Roddy in the display, but I would have to eventually buy two of this one, and can't really bring myself to buy one right now (cancelled my preorder a few minutes ago). I may change my mind later, but it just went way down the priority list.

Extremely disappointed in Windcharger... It looks like nothing has changed on him, just probably better red plastic. Stll has that horrible grey on him... Not worth buying it, not even for Tap-Out.
Rodimus is okay, though I'm a little undecided. Retooling is nice, but you have to have the PCC Mini-Cons to really make use of him. looks nice in robot mode, but the different shades are really offputting in vehicle mode. Thinking about it, will probably just try and find a Classics version instead.
Warpath and Thunderwing look virtually the same as the Generatiosn version, so an easy pass for me.

Yeah, I would have rather they'd given him a hole instead of a peg, so he'd be compatible with TargetMasters rather than Mini-Cons. And the side flames still haven't grown on me. I like the paint on the wrists, though. And the different color shades don't bother me for whatever reason.

Never thought I'd say this, but that G2 Megatron is the figure I want most out of this wave... The colours are gloriously gaudy and clashing it's brilliant, and I can use him as Classics Archforce!
Warpath and Thunderwing are still easy passes, the differences are too minimal and do nothing to make the character more appealing to me.
Not even that, just maybe even pack in a Mini-Con/Targetmaster with the figure. Right now, it's only good if you've got PCC dudes knocking around, or if you shell out the ridiculous prices for the exclusive Microns in Japan.

All right, just canceled my Rodimus preorder at BBTS, and bought a Classics off ebay to reprolabel up. Those colors just bug me too much. Very disappointed, I was so looking forward to this release.

Masabon, Any word of related microns to this release of united with targetmasters. I am wondering about the grey pinpoint and green Nightstick shown here in a twitter post from Japan. Yellow Pinpoint is world hobby fair exclusive but nothing on the other two. Grey pinpoint would fit on Rodimus and may look better than what is available now.

Rodimus Prime, I know they were trying to emulate the G1 toy (oh the irony) and it seems that they did achieve that in a away. Does that color scheme and pattern work on a new figure.....ehhhh...not so much. I like the richness of the colors, though , not too fond of the white used for the face and fists.
Warpath - Nothing to be said, he's barely different, if not boring compared to the Hasbro release with the military style stencil apps.
Thunderwing - The black offers a great contrast., but I'm sure ti has to do with the fact that the other colors are so desaturated to the point of them being barely there.
Wipe-Out - Looks nice, a bit plain, but not bad at all. Don't know if he would be worth it as I was one of the lucky few to get Windcharger of HTS last year. I really do like the mold, and again, but I don't know.
