Generations Junkheap and Sky Shadow in Hand Images

Posted on 11-09-2011 at 04:47 PM by Sol Fury under Transformers Generations Classics 3.0
DE02 It's not just Transformers Prime's Preview series that has been released in Hong Kong - newly released are the next two Transformers Generations toys, the so called "last of 2011", Sky Shadow and Junkheap. Some in hand images of Junkheap, showing the new head, have been posted over at HK-TF.com. An in hand image of Sky Shadow has also been posted up, and comes to us from Hong Kong store Hobbybase via The Allspark.

I've got it on good authority that these are headed out to certain online stores and specialty retailers as we speak - they should hopefully be making their way into the piles of loot of Transformers fans within the next couple of weeks or so - just in time for Christmas!

TFW Reveal the Shield Lugnut Gallery

Posted on 10-09-2011 at 01:15 PM by Sol Fury under Transformers Generations Classics 3.0
Lugnut-Robot-10 For our next Transformers Toy Galleries update, we bring you Reveal the Shield Lugnut. Lugnut was one of the four Voyagers in this Classics subline, and another of Derrick J Wyatt's Transformers Animated creations who have been adopted into the mainstream. Reveal the Shield Lugnut brings a lot to the table - he's a very imposing, massive looking Decepticon, with loads of 3mm clip weapon points, and spring loaded punches. All in all, he's a fun toy and it's a pity he saw such limited distribution.

Click on the link below to check out the gallery:

Reveal the Shield Lugnut Gallery

Lugnut was also released as a part of Transformers United. United Lugnut sported a very different deco to his Reveal the Shield counterpart. Check out our gallery of United Lugnut here by way of comparison:

TFW United Laser Optimus Prime Gallery

Posted on 10-08-2011 at 10:26 AM by Sol Fury under Transformers Generations Classics 3.0
United-Laser-Prime-22 It's time for another TFW Gallery update! After last week's blitz of movie galleries, I thought I'd highlight something for the non-Movie fans, and SydneyY shot the perfect thing. Here for your enjoyment is a gallery of Transformers United Laser Optimus Prime, the Japanese release of Reveal the Shield Generation 2 Optimus Prime. United Laser Optimus Prime makes a few changes to the deco, going for straight-up red and black in truck mode, and the clear plastic is changed up from orange to blue, giving Optimus blue eyes and windows - and a nice blue sword to boot.

Check out SydneyY's gallery of the toy we all want redecoed in black and teal and named Scourge (with a Takara-Tomy release named Black Convoy for the fans of the Car Robots incarnation) by clicking on the link below:

Darkside-Pair We've got a pair of awesome new Transformers galleries for you today! War for Cybertron Optimus Prime and Megatron are some awesome, fun toys - and both received black repaints during the summer. The Tokyo Toy Show exclusive set of these black repaints, the Darkside set, is the subject of todays gallery. Darkside Optimus Prime in this set rocks the Robots in Disguise Scourge colors, while Darkside Megatron sports a deco inspired by Animated Shadow Blade Megatron or possibly his latest IDW comics design. Either way, the deco rocks and brings out the full menace of Megatron.

TFW Gallery Generations Scourge, Thundercracker and Wheeljack

Posted on 09-11-2011 at 03:07 PM by Sol Fury under Transformers Generations Classics 3.0
scourge24 With all the classics love from TFC Toys today, I thought we'd throw in a bit of our own, so I'd like to highlight to you some galleries we've had done for us by 2005 Boards Photo team member thedrkness48! Hailing from the later waves of Generations, we have galleries of Generations Wave 7, which featured Wheeljack and Thundercracker! But that's not all. In a little thing called Transformers the Movie (which I'm told recently turned 25) Thundercracker was reborn as a new Decepticon named Scourge. He got a new toy in Generations Wave 6. Guess what - we've got a gallery of him too! Click on the links below to check out the galleries:

TFW United Frenzy & Rumble Galleries

Posted on 09-04-2011 at 10:55 AM by Sol Fury under Transformers Generations Classics 3.0
Frenzy--Rumble-2 When we shared our galleries of the Transformers United E-Hobby exclusives with you last week, I promised we had another Transformers United multipack in store. Well, we're keeping good on that promise today - on Decepticon turf you have tumbled, and here comes Rumble (and also Frenzy).

The Transformers United Frenzy & Rumble pack was sold at a Voyager pricepoint, which seems a bit steep for a pair of Scouts. Nonetheless right now it remains the only way to own this Decepticon duo, who feature some pretty nifty arm transformations to give them their signature piledriver attacks. Red or blue does not really matter - they're both here for your enjoyment and they're both rather cool. Hopefully they will one day see release at US retail rather than being forever consigned to high aftermarket prices on the United set.

But enough talk from me! Click on the links below to check out the galleries:
