TFW2005 sponsor BigBadToyStore has also posted up some of the first images of Transformers United Scourge and the new-imagining of Generation 2 Optimus Prime. Both figures are new molds and scheduled to be released in Jaunary 2011.

Drift is part of the first wave, but I forgot about Blurr who is later on. We haven't seen Blurr's car mode, just the robot (the car mode picture was just the Hasbro one in the photos).

OptionZero
We have seen Blurr and Drift iirc
PoweredConvoy
Those are the Hasbro versions. The only United figures we've seen are the first wave (the first 10 figures), Grapple, and Lugnut. The rest of Untied we haven't seen.

They look the same as the Hasbro versions. Meh. I think a lot of people are imagining some of these extra $20 worth differences with United.
Edgewise
Perceptor, Wreck-Gar, Optimus Prime & Bumblebee seem to be "RTS"
While Scourge and (Sergeant) Kup seem to be "Generations"
So Generations is continuing alongside RTS, not being folded into one.
Do we know what RTS Optimus Prime & Bumblebee are? Is it "G2" Prime and another movie Bumblebee?
Edit: Evidently Classics BB redeco and G2 Prime

Hasbro Scourge, Perceptor, Kup and Wreck-gar up for pre-order at BBTS…

Is Classics Voyager Prime actually hard to find? Seems like it floats around the secondary market quite a bit.
Plus, G2 Prime here is fine… if you want a Prime that stands as tall as Prowl or Jazz.

The only Takara-only releases we know of so far, are the repaints of Classics 1.0 Deluxe Optimus Prime and Voyager Megatron.
Some releases haven't been 100% confirmed for US release just yet, but I doubt Hasbro won't get them out there sometime. Kup and Wheeljack have been mentioned at least a couple times each, and it seems a picture of Hasbro's Kup is on it's way (here).
It's just a gun, aka it doesn't transform, but it was designed to look like a cross between Fracas's gun-mode, and the regular gun Scourge had.
defstar
Someone please clarify…Scourge's gun…is it Fracas/not does it transform/not?…
What's the deal and why?…
AlanGarou
Great! Now I won't have to pay insane prices for Classics Voyager Prime.
PoweredConvoy
Yeah, but not to the point where they've released any pictures (we've seen it only through United's listings) or solicited the wave he's in to retailers yet. The closest we've gotten from Hasbro themselves is the cover of the Battle For Space 2 Pack Comic.

Eeeeeeeeeeeehhh. Kinda iffy there on Kup. They did a COUGHKUPCOUGH reveal at BotCon.
PoweredConvoy
Not that we know of, but Hasbro has yet to OFFICIALLY announce Kup, Frenzy & Rumble, and Wheejack.

I'm getting confused with all of the new figures being announced. I know that 'Transformers United' is Takara Tomy's version of Hasbro's Generations, but what I don't know is are there any figures that are only going to be released in Japan? Just like how we could only get Red Alert as a Henkei figure until just recently. Does anybody know?

Someone mentioned the flamethrower on G2 Laser Rods trailer. This made me think what if they gave him a gun that looked like said flamethrower. It could be like BW Rampages weapon. Load a handful of missles turn the barrel of the gun clockwise at certain intervals a missle would launch.

I really hope that the naming issues don't stop them from calling the repaint Scourge. If they wait long enough for the G1 Scourge figure to be of store pegs, than there shouldn't be any issue with calling the RID themed repaint of Prime the same name. If need be name him Destructicon Scourge.
In the end, as long as the color scheme/paint apps are a clear homage to RID Scourge, I'll buy it. I just personally think they shouldn't call him Nemesis Prime. The two aren't the same thing, at all.
Matt_M
If they do repaint Prime as Scourge… will they call him Scourge? Considering, you know, we're getting a different Scourge already?
Or will they just call him "Nemesis Prime" again?
Lone Cat
I ain't no a fan of Gee Two but….
it seems his transformation sequences are a bit closer to ROTF legends class Optimus Prime (mm maybe because windshield becomes torso, while G2 prime (is it a version re released as Black Convoy much later on?) the windshield becomes his back instead mew!)
he also looks like a modernized Kenworth truck.
nice pick Takara, you made a pun to CONVOY movie.
Primal_Grimlock
Me want.
Me probably never get, but me want anyway.
