Previously teased in the form of artwork, we now have our first full look at the e-Hobby exclusive Magnificus figure. This repaint of Reveal The Shield Perceptor features a new head and a striking black, red and silver paint job. The deco is based on E-Hobby’s previous exclusive which was a homage to the original Microman figure. What do you think? Will you shell out for this Japanese exclusive? Will he join the ranks of your Generations Decepticons as an evil clone of Perceptor (As seen in the Dreamwave comics)? Or will he be your Shattered Glass Perceptor?
Your only limit is your imagination. Click on the title bar to check out the pictures!

Ehobby figure is always so expensive.

How does $55 become $85 on every other store, including the official club store? What a joke. They can all get bent.
(Well, I can't confirm the club store price, because apparently the link doesn't work, and GBBlackrock's site hasn't put the info there either. Strange. I thought we knew the price from them farther back than just two days ago.)

Sorry to bump this old thread.
Yes, you misunderstood me. I want them to include the DISCARDED heads. The new heads that FunPub makes aren't part of the molds of the figure. I've heard they don't even gate off the molds for the original heads, they just throw out a couple thousand heads.
In a few cases I'd like the original heads along with the new ones, like with the examples I gave of Reflector (because I want cartoon Reflector with a mouth, not toy Reflector with a faceplate, although this sounds like it's not going to be from FunPub.) and SG Astrotrain (who was originally supposed to be Universe Spacewarp, and also the new head sucks. although it's obviously much too late now.)

Yah man, that ridiculous price tag but is sure is tempting me to get it.

…start?
Maybe I misunderstand you, but I think SG Treadshot and SG Magnus fit into this category. As well as, regionally, Spinister and one of the Junkions.
sh002
looks good but pass
LigerPrime
It does look good but I'm skipping it because its a non-show character. I've made a bad habit of buying bots just because it looks cool and as a result, I'm outta space! X)
Pravus Prime
I'm interested, but I have a feeling that ultimately the price tag will be too high for me.
It does look fantastic though.

As long as it is TakTomy, anything is possible
[Wing_Saber-X]
That's certainly a huge possibility. Finger's crossed!
Stepper
Let's hope the price will not be that ridiculous

I Love this figure but hate the fact it is going to run me 10x's what I paid for Perceptor from DD's.

Well I'm excited enough mainly for Springer and Blitzwing – indeed Takara's versions are out in August. I wonder if they'd really have e-Hobby release Overcharge from the new Blitzwing mold just a month later.
Stepper
Though it is slighlty more expensive but I like this mold, what to do.
[Wing_Saber-X]
yeah, probaly ehobby might have other 'exclusives' in mind. Ohh, imagine the possibilities. Also, for those who are fretting about the non-inclusion of his Microman partner in crime, Ga'mede, may I suggest looking at the Black Microman Micronaught toys, specifically the one that came with the Microman Godzilla figure? IMHO, it fits PERFECTLY in scale with the RTS Deluxe Preceptor/ Magnificus figure.

Yeah, for example United Black Optimus Prime's box art was first seen on ebay shorty before it became available, but that was for the Tokyo Toy show and I shouldn't expect consistent release schedules when it comes to exclusives of all things.
Just maybe with Magnificus' release date – and thanks for sharing that info; I hadn't seen that before – we could be missing the big picture here. Perhaps e-Hobby are still working on some more exclusives that they want to release at or near the same time as this one.
Obviously since we've seen the box for Magnificus, that won't be in the same sense as the '86 Movie related three packs with exclusive United decos and characters. It could be more like a wave of exclusives, or one per month for three to four months. Or e-Hobby could be releasing only Magnificus in September for any number of reasons. That said, they've released separately boxed exclusives in pairs as a set before, as shown on tfwiki:
