Gryph
I'm getting that Prime. XD
Voiceroy
Yeah, these are fun. Will be adding them to my collection of transforming oddities, and buying them for the nephews too.
And the Bee and Prime playsets are just…well, a must-own for me.
Infosaur
I hate to say it but I love these (and it will keep my boy and nephew out of the good stuff)
And having caught an episode of Hero Squad once or twice, I'm all for a unique continuity Hero Transformer spin off. (as long as it doesn't supplant the more mature lines, although the bayverse can go )
Fort Max
Early Learning Centre was selling movie toys not so long ago, their policy's seem to have changed a fair bit.
bryguy1984
That's the same kind of logic that gave us walkie tallies in e.t. instead of guns. With that kind of thinking we may as well take out any form of protagonist from the whole franchise.
shibamura_prime
I want that fire station. I have no idea where I would put it, BUT I WANT IT.
Fort Max
Best pre school toys I've seen.
Digilaut
Love em. Should definitely please the little ones!
SPLIT LIP
They're cute. Little kids should really get a kick out of these. I like the idea of a non-violent branch-off of TFs.
Wingnut
YES! Just what I need to get my Nephew hooked! Muhahahahahahaha!
trebleshot
Looks really doofy to me, but I know my kids are going to be into them, which means I'll be into them as well.
Dolza_Khyron
no, they're clearly based on rescue heroes, and are clearly a transformers/rescue heroes, cross over!
which is weird, since rescue heroes, was made by mattel
LUGNUT1995
Are these based on the Go-bots or something?
Feralstorm
They're not. They're "Heroes/Squad/Whatever" style, which is cutesy and cartoony, but not necessarily TF:Animated. Just looking at them it's fairly obvious they're more a cutesy-fied mix of G1/Classic and Movie in details.
Dolza_Khyron
they did that already
in fact, they bought tonka, too!
Bumblethumper
This stuff is suited to toystores like Early Learning Centre. They won't sell violent war toys. They did stock some early waves of TFA though.
We've seen some radical changes with Transformers over the years, and I've sometimes wondered if you could go one change further and take the war and violence out of Transformers. Transforming robots is cool enough as it is, we don't need them loaded up with guns.
Yeah, that's exactly what these are.
FanimusMaximus
For Pete's sake just buy the rights go Go-Bots and be done with it already Hasbro!
NCStarscream
Anti-Decepticon bias! Boo!
WhiteMocha
Mmm, Transformer gateway drugs. These are cute, like "Human Alliance Jr."!
I dunno, they seem like a mix to me. Bumblebee looks Animated-esque, but Prime looks pretty G1. And that helicopter bot looks a lot like Movie Evac. They probably just go with whatever seems most cute and kid-friendly. I like the "pulling from multiple aesthetics" angle, though.
I'll likely pick up a few of these for the young kids in my life.
Thundershot
My son will LOVE these!
