Transformers Prime Toys from Hasbro's Toy Fair 2011

Will there be anything for those who don't care about DotM toys?

I'm kind of interested in the Prime figures. Anything else?

He could be referring to previous entries in the Transformers franchise (or lore or history). If, just for example, this did turn out to be Unicron, he could be referring to his appearance in the animated movie and so on.

Hmm, can't wait to see if/how they do Unicron.

We already know that Unicron exists in some form in the Prime Universe...with the Dark energon being known as the 'Blood of Unicron'

Honestly, my initial assumption was we we going to get a 'preview wave' in Generations this fall (the ones they showed this week) and then Prime would become the 'mainline' in early '12 as the DOTM figures are phased out.

I'm wondering if packaged samples of Prime toys are in the showroom. And the fact that Allspark says they look much more impressive in person blows my mind. Besides Bee and Prime, they already looked perfect to me.

I just saw Prime Arcee. I cant belivehow much she shrinks for alt Mode! It makes me miss Animated. Prime is, in my mind, the sucsesor to Animated.

Okay, I'm sold on TF Prime. Definitely getting all of em. Movie line still maybe only megs and shockwave. Will have to go through more pics to pick and choose on the rest still.

TF Prime line is pure win...I guess Starscream likes wearing heels? But seriously they are all excellent figures

Uh, Hasbro has hinted that the original intent was to include the first Prime figures under the Generations banner, so it really wasn't that obvious.

I feel ripped off. The pics we got of Prime Megatron last week didn't have any ugly back kibble. And holy crap is this site running like molasses!

That's because he isn't transformed correctly. His back is meant to peg in.

The Transformers Prime stuff is a must have.

Shockwave, Sentinel Prime would be a must have. The Ark maybe depending on the size since it's a little hard to tell from the pictures.

Nothing else really grabs me as something I might need for the collection.

The TF Prime figs look even better in these pics, but the black forearms on Arcee are ugly. Good thing I've been practicing my painting, heh. And it's magnificent to see the wheel on her back hidden!

Prime Megatron seems to be mis-transformed, the back panel is pushed up and visible rather than hidden in the back like on the promo-shots we saw.

All the prime stuff looks good. Dotm ironhide looks amazing.

Those Transformers Prime toys are very deceiving in terms of sizing.

I look at Megatron and think Voyager.

Holy lack of corneas, Batman!

Arcee, Bumblebee, and Starscream are the stand-outs so far and bode well for the future of the line. I don't have the same affection for Prime as I did for Animated, and it pains me that the Hub wasn't around for the latter, but it's nice to see the same excellent translation from the small screen to action figure that was found in Animated.

That said, there is something horrifically wrong with Miko's facial symmetry.

these are the same pictures, but i sure hope that bumblebee is mistransformed, i just dont like that his whole back end becomes his heel spur, and starscream has a lot of robot kibble in his jet mode, but thats kinda unavoidable with jets, so its ok

Love the Megatron - looks almost as good as Animated. Uncertain about the rest. Really depends on price. I'll get Prime and Starscream (only because I have to to keep my shrines going), but the rest will probably stay at the store.

As for Unicron in Prime.... WHY?! Seriously... Jumping the shark this early is ridiculous. It's like the 90's Spider-Man doing the black suit saga 6 episodes into the series. Give some buildup!

20 episodes seems like a good buildup. Anyways, Unicron wasn't confirmed, it's just speculation. Personally, I'm hoping for one of the planet destroyers (can't remember the name...) like Thunderwing

Just saw the vids in the Toyfair thread and along with these shots, this will be a must have line to add to my collection..love'em all

The official pics have Megs transformed right and Starscream mistransformed. The Toy Fair booth photos have Megs mistransformed and Starscream transformed correctly.

I'm still wondering if there isn't a chance that the Entertainment Pack may come out early to capitalize on Prime airing. The first season should end late June and unlike Animated won't have the second season starting right off the bat. Just putting out the pack allows them to capitalize on Prime airing and since it's next to the shiny new DOTM would help further advertise the show. This also reduces competition as there will undoubtedly be a Voyager version of both figures when the Prime line came out properly that fall.

Man, before we even consider the possibility of Prime blowing its load of introducing a giant transforming eater of worlds (even if its a cameo) don't we still need to find out what the hell is going on with "New Zombie Paradise" aka Cybertron. Maybe thats the planet they're talking about, I hope-after the Unicron Trilogy, I'm all too Unicroned out.

For the love of Cybertron, please please please give us a Cliffjumper out of this line at some point. Megatron and Starscream are slowly selling themselves to me. Prime not so much, and surprisingly, this is one additional Bumblebee I'd buy. Arcee is definite.

Megatron is by far the best figure in this line so far, they nailed him so completely with just a deluxe that a voyager or even leader version sometime next year is a mouth watering prospect.

ok so A: why has no one stated how Prime got chest implants and B: what team gets the first triple-changer?
