Transformers Generations (Classics 3.0) Images from Toy Fair 2010

Check out images from Toy Fair 2010 of various Transformers Generations, aka Classics 3.0. Due out Fall 2010.

This new "Transformers Generations" line in the yellow-ish packaging will be a mix between left over Revenge of the Fallen toys (under the banner of "Hunt for the Decepticons" from the presentation slides), along with what fans consider to be "Classics 3.0". Hence the odd combination of characters, with the likes of Drift and Thrust (the Japanese Henkei mold receiving a domestic US release) rubbing shoulders with Movie continuity Sea Spray, Forest Battle Leader Class Optimus Prime, Jetblade and Backfire.

Looks like a Legends Long Haul to me. Not an Activator. Hard to tell for sure.

THIS is what I want to know about... what line is this part of? (Activator, Deluxe, Scout, etc?) I'm guessing Activator.

Cool, I'll be intrested the toys those names in the bios end up being...I'm sure a couple repaints but a couple new molds would be awesome too!

Once again the ROTF scouts score several home runs and a touchdown! Hubcap and Brimstone are frickin' awesome! cannot wait to get these. Deluxe Ironhide is a definate as well, looks so much more accurate than the Voyager (and I love the Voyager) except maybe for the arm kibble but I can live with that.

Payload and Ratchet I don't care for, and Sea Spray I can never say enough times how much I love that guy

Ah yes, I should have figured that out. Just ran across this picture that confirms Ravage and Long Haul are Legends. The detail on those two seems to be a lot better than previous Legends figs. I think that might be what threw me off a bit.

These are new molds that do not combine like the ones that are part of the Devastator set do. A bit more accuracy ftw!

Eh, not really. That Legends Bumblebee is just a repaint of a Legends fig that has already been released. I think there is just more detail on them so the picture makes them look bigger than they are. Compare the Red Rampage alt-mode to the Optimus Prime alt-mode and they are about the same. The photographer took the image from a low angle so the depth makes closer figures look quite a bit larger.

I'm so getting Ironhide, he looks just fantastic. I'll hafta find Legends ravage, he looks very good, and will be good scale. Starscream's already on my list, and I'm loving the new Leader Prime. Might have to get that as well as the new Voyager. I need to see more of the new Deluxe Bee. It looks cool...

I dont know about you but I wouldn't pay even $20 for it let alone $45 for the exact original mold and paint that sombody took there lighter to and called it battle damage.

It's worth noting that with the slightly smaller weapons (the hooks) his arm articulation might not be quite as fucked as the original release's.

wow so much goodness, although i think im going to go with seaspray and drift here and any other classics 3 (generations) toys, myt get the conehead to if i dont finish my interpretation first. but good to see some new molds

I'm still not digging Sea Spray, but he actually reminds me of Cybertron Shortround. That toy's okay, but I don't want a Voyager toy based on it, which is what Sea Spray really looks like.

Deluxe Ironhide looks extremely meh. I'm reserving judgment until I see better pictures.

Forest Battle Prime looks ridiculous. And not in a good way. It's like they said "Okay, we've got this Prime face, and we can make hooks. Anyone else got any other ideas? No? Okay, throw some black paint on it and call it 'Battle Damage' and send it to production." That being said, I might get it for the hooks and parts so I can build some real guns, and give Prime a face.

Now, here's what gets me: the Prime in truck mode isn't the same as Forest Battle Prime. It looks exactly like Premium Prime. So, are we getting a Premium Prime?

I'm loving what I'm seeing so far. I can't wait for the summer to get these toys! Hubcap will be my next Scout figure, he looks very nice!

I felt the same way looking at the pics so far. Thrust looks great, just not to impressed with the rest so far.
