The excitement from Toy Fair 2013 continues! A careful ear from board member Scaleface catches a discussion between an attendee and a Hasbro representative from a Toy Fair 2013 video (linked below) discussing the possibilities of the recently-announced (and now, highly anticipated) Generations Metroplex. During this discussion (around the 4:45 mark), one such possibility is Metroplex redecoed into - Metrotitan!
EDIT: You can view the embedded version here (and thanks to fellow board member opoptimus for the assist there!):
For those of you unfamiliar with Metrotitan, if you click the resource link in the previous statement, you will discover that Metrotitan is a Japanense exclusive deco of G1 Metroplex as a Destron (Decepticon) from the Japanese series Transformers: Zone. Hasbro certainly has created modern toys with obscure references, such as Generations Sky Shadow. That coupled with the obvious necessity for such a large toy as Generations Metroplex (!) to have a good redeco in order for Hasbro to recoup some of the mold costs as well as the referenced discussion of this news bit, certainly makes this a possibility!
Now, while all of this certainly seems like a very possible reality, we are still posting this as a "rumor", as this is not an "official" confirmation of Metrotitan actually being produced, so take this with a grain of salt, so to speak.
By all means, join in on the discussion already taking place by clicking the link below. Also, certainly feel free to check out our coverage of Toy Fair 2013!

Toy Fair 2013 has come and gone for us here at TFW2005.com, and boy was it crazy. We do our best to get the info and images up to you quickly, and for the most part, that doesn't allow us to curate, refine and enhance the pictures we take. We just want to get em all to you quick, and let you sort them out while the show is in full swing.
That being said, we've started to go through our image sets from the weekend, are picking out the best ones and giving them a little extra love. Attached to the story are some of the hottest shots from the show. Not necessarily the hottest as in new & never seen - just some good looking pictures in their own right. To see them all - read on!
If you are looking for comprehensive coverage, check our -Toy Fair News category.
If you'd like to see non-Transformers "pretty pictures" - check out the story on Toyark.com

TOY FAIR 2013 News Coverage Round Up - Day 2
Day 2 of Toy Fair 2013 has come to and end and wow, what a day it was! We started our day with a wide assortment of upcoming Lego Product, including new Lego Star Wars, Chima and City sets. We then transitioned in new Dragon Ball Z and Kotobukiya Images. Bandai nevers disappoint!
Toy Fair then kicked in to high gear as we were created by images of DC's Man of Steel, Arkham City, Injustice Gods Among Us and Batman Hush figures.
One of the highlights of the show was the Masters of the Universe Classics Castle Grayskull Playset. Of course, there were also figures, but there's also a ton of other great stuff to be had this year. So much, in fact, that you'll have to join me after the jump for all the links, as there were almost 100 unique stories to report on today!

We have received a selection of press releases from Hasbro which, alongside a lot of information we already knew, tease at a whole bunch of other upcoming releases. These upcoming releases include:
Generations Legends Class Megatron and Starscream
Construct Bots Beast Hunters Two Pack - Optimus Prime VS Predaking
Rescue Bots Figure Two-Packs Wave 2 - Blades with Dr Morocco and Boulder with Doc Greene. Figures of Tim Curry and Levar Burton? Yes please!
Rescue Bots Beam Bots Game. The main game retails for $49.99 and comes with Optimus Prime, figure packs retail for $6.99 and add Bumblebee, Boulder, Chase, Heatwave and Blades into the mix. It consists of putting the figure into a "portal" and they are then unlocked to play as in the game. Think Skylanders, but with Transformers Rescue Bots.
The press release for Beast Hunters also gives an indication for the numbers of releases in the Beast Hunters line. If this information is correct, we've seen most of what this line has to offer already...
Beast Hunters Deluxe Class - 16 characters in the assortment (we have seen 11)
Beast Hunters Voyager Class - 6 characters in the assortment (we have seen 5)
Beast Hunters Cyberverse Legion Class - 11 figures to collect (we have seen 7)
Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander Class - 9 figures to collect (we have seen 7)
Beast Hunters Cyberverse Vehicle Assortment - 3 to collect (we have seen 2)
Of course, do not take this as gospel; plans change and if Beast Hunters is successful, there might be more toys coming down the pipeline. This also does not take into account exclusive releases such as the Abominus combiner set and the electronic Beast Fire Predaking is also not mentioned. It probably also refers only to what Hasbro has lined up for 2013; there could be more toys planned for 2014 outside the scope of this press release.

Transformers Construct-A-Bots Toy Fair 2013.
This line features a number of classic Transformers characters. The premise behind it being a line of completely customizable/buildable figures that can transform without having to remove any parts, unlike the Transformers Kre-O sets. With that said, the only limit is your imagination.

Here are some Transformers Generations from the Hasbro Toy Fair 2013 Event.
• Springer
• Blitzwing
• Orion Pax
• Bumblebee
• Megatron
• Trailcutter
• Legends Class
For those of you who wanted and IDW Stealth Bomber Megatron, Hasbro has come through with a new deluxe figure! Meanwhile Generations Voyager Springer has been revealed! This reveal is quite a surprise as it lends itself more to a modernized take on the G1 version than it does to Springer's FOC concept art. The surprises don't stop there, as another triple changer enters the mix, with the reveal of Blitzwing! Blitzwing derives inspiration from the Transformers Animated Blitzwing; almost like a Classics/Generations version of the Animated design similar to Lockdown and Lugnut before him! Homages range from the Animated head design to the swing-wing fighter mode! Click the headline to check out the new pics!

Platinum Edition Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus from the Hasbro Toy Fair 2013 Event.
Platinum Edition Ultra Magnus comes with the Forge Of Solus Prime seen in season 2 of Transformers Prime. In addition, this new Magnus figure is a heavily retooled version of the Weaponizer Optimus Prime figure. Though it uses an Optimus figure as a base, the wealth of new unique parts leaves it looking substantially different.
