TFW2005 has received official Hasbro photos of the upcoming Target exclusive Titanium Series figures. Optimus Prime is a repaint of the War Within Prime mold in a movie Prime-like deco, Thrust is a War Within Thundercracker repaint and Hot Zone should look familiar to Robots in Disguise Optimus Prime and G1 Hot Spot fans alike!

Joe Moore:
Enjoy.
brawl 56:
yeah!
wanna have thrust and maybe inferno!
They´re looking great!
Ravenxl7:
Cool. I'm probably going to get Thrust, and maybe Hot Zone. I've got a Classics Ramjet head that I'll be painting up and putting on Thrust. He'll be my "Classics" Thrust. Really no interested in Prime, but he does look nice. It's too bad these guys don't have the little platform/stand things.
llamatron:
Oh wow, that took a while, I saw these guys in Singapore back in March.
seeker311:
Gonna get!
Samus_Ng:
Prime looks good, I might actually get him
trebleshot:
I do like the new deco on Prime, but I won't get him again unless all of the mold issues got fixed.

I'll definitely pick up Thrust and Hot Zone, though. Now I just need to work on getting TI Skywarp....
starscream1701:
Must have Thrust!
saberconvoy:
Prime looks great
Powersa:
For some reason Thrust and Hot Spot looks really good.

Prime is cool but not enough for me to buy again.
Spartan Prime:
I like that Patriot Prime and his Don-rifle. I might snag that if I get the chance. I really dig my original WW Prime, despite the loose joints.
shibamura_prime:
Definitely digging the Prime and Hot Spot. Especially the latter. It's the closest we're gonna get to the OTFCC Defensor. XD
Smasher:
I'm not sure why I like that Prime, but I do.
I hope they fixed the joints -if that's possible.
SoundMaster:
If they fixed the shoulders on Prime, I will get him.
Blitz.:
I might get flamed for this but IMO their all ugly as sin
Zie:
I'd much rather get the full sized version of that tit hot zone, sadly that will never happen
Octavius Prime:
I'll get Thrust.

Prime is nice, but it's just a "remix" of the first version.

Hot Zone is good for what it is (nice mold, solid homage) but I don't really care about the character.

I want back of package images.

Anyone else think it's weird that there's only three of these? It feels like we should be getting 2 bots & 2 cons.
Automorpher:
Glad to know that the line ain't dead! The sad thing is: They keep churning out all these repaints & its starting to get stale.

Yeah right there bro!

Also, the lack of creativity is the reason WHY these will continue to stay here in "unbought" state.
Solrac333:
These are cool.
Prime Evil:
I'll be picking up Thrust for sure. I love the deco on Hot Zone, but I do wish he was bigger. I don't think I'll be getting him cause he's just to small. And I already have WWI Prime so I'm good there. Still nice stuff for some that havn't gotten a chance to get them yet.
0R10N P4X:
They look ok but I'm not getting any of them. And I still prefer the original Prime over this one.
G.B. Blackrock:
Tempting. Might get Hot Shot/Zone just because of the "almost what 3H was going to do" aspect of it.
Grimwing:
Thrust is the best. Even his box is cool with its copperish hue.

I also want to pick up hot zone because I hav'ent had the mold before and have heard its solid.

I really dislike that the ww prime mold's arms are'nt very sturdy. But since its the movie deco I'm sure there will be parents who will scoop it up for their kids as a substitute for the extremely popular mainline prime.

You would be better off buying a second copy of voyager "general" optimus prime.
Trailbreaker77:
So are these available at HTS?
Powersa:
I don't get all this talk about the size of Hot Spot. Its not like the toy was ever big before. 6" is about right.
Terrorcon Blot:
The nice part is that Hot Zone is kinda sorta in scale with Universe Blades.
Bgrngod:
I just used up the last few square inches of real estate on my Titaniums shelf. Now I'll need to have Titanium figures on a second shelf! ><

Still... can't deny the desire for another seeker.
Sten4sw:
Great... soooo when does it come out?
Trailbreaker77:
I am just glad to see something other than movie news.
Skylock:
These look good, I need to my Universe fix and this is close enough.
soundwaveCA:
I'm still wondering who at Hasbro thought bringing these back was a good idea.
Scantron:
I'll get Thrust, but definitely passing on the other two. I already have too many Titaniums that I don't want, no sense getting any more.

IIRC, they're Target-exclusives.
Angelwave:
Hmmm....Titaniums. They've lost the appeal to me.

Never really had it for me. Bad combination of "high price" and "low quality."
flywheels:
Hotzone is tempting, but w/ our first child on the way I better save my limited hobby funds for non-repainted toys.
hillyard:
Thrust is definitely a buy. The other two are cool as well.
Nerroth:
I always liked the Titanium mould for RiD Optimus, and considered it a good choice to represent Hot Spot...

...and despite his new toy name, it's still cool to see that it's gonna happen!

(Any word on whether these will get a Canadian release?)
enkidoamark:
street date?

I second that opinion. I was trying to avoid ROTF news like the plague but they keep on showing up almost everyday.

Not ALMOST everyday, its now EVERYDAY officially.

It WAS a good line as I found some of the concepts innovative enough. That was before the Repaints took place.
Golden Age:
I like the two Titaniums I have. I like the construction and the diecast used. They also have good articulation. I wish they would get away from the comic based designs and focus on more G1 and Beast Wars.
grimlock1972:
do want and if i can swing it ill get all 3
shortround:
il get two of them primes the old one i got the clip that holds the arm in place broke off
SmokescreenGT:
Those look cool, but I'll probably just get Thrust and Hot Zone.
Bumblejazz:
I might get Prime.
Mechafire:
Meh...
deliciouspeter:
I'm going to Thrust that Optimus into my Hot Zone.
jestermon:
I love the Thrust, the dark red, and I like the huge Decepticon logo on him, bigger then the small one on Thundercracker, not that I don't love him too though.

I prefer that they do some repaints, This is the most close minded repaint ever, some repaints look 100 times better then the original, Cybertron Clocker looked horrible IMO, but the Swerve repaint was fantastic.

Repaints get us new items, they can repaint movie Bumblebee as much as they want if it later on gets me more G1 Robot Heroes, and Classics 3.0 repaints are a neccessary evil.

What is odd is that the Grimlock and Prowl that were the new molds which you would think would have revived the line they did not.

Hopefully these 3 will get us some new updated Titaniums that will address all the issues we have stated about there designs.
Pasaway:
I'm hoping that this means we get those prototype Arcee, Cosmos, WW BB, ShockWave, and CJ, that they dicontinued before.
Bahamut Prime:
Looks interesting!
Optimus Scourge:
I will likely pass, but Damn, why didn't they Paint Prime so nice before?

Gonna Paint mine now
