I got the same pair for $74 USD shipped. Cheaper than BBTS, but still more than I would have liked to have paid for 2 toys I already own! Still happy though…esp. since these will probably be the only 2 I buy with the way the dollar is crapping…
Glitcher
Same with my Grimlock. The hips on mine are so loose that Grimmy's impossible to pose on a smooth surface with his legs at an angle. He just ends up falling into a split. I have to keep a tissue underneath to prevent him slipping.
Liege Prime
My Hasbro Grimlock has the same issue.
As far as the packaging goes, it isn't the slick graphic design packaging the U.S. has grown accustom to, but I don't really mind. It's gaudy, but has it's own charm I think. Anyways, despite my not feeling like they are really worth it, I preordered Megs and Prime from Ages 3 and Up for $33 each just on a whim.
REDLINE
they weren't like that on Mine, maybe you got a lemon? There werent THAT many Grimlocks produced, and add to that that he was only produced ONE time, that'd be awfully fast mold degradation.
Easy Tiger
Just got back from Japan yesterday, and picked up Prime and Grimlock (missed them out here the first time around).
Not sure how they were with Hasbro's, but a word of warning for anyone interested in getting Grimlock – the (bot mode) legs on mine are very loose – it takes some considerable balancing skill to get any kind of dynamic posing going on. If this wasn't the case with the Hasbro run, I'd guess some kind of mold degradation.
Other than that though, they're a lot better looking in person, than the pictures online would suggest.
Rayzilla Prime
WOOT!!!
Starscream and Bumble[bee] are MINE! I missed out on the Hasbro versions, and I wants 'em now.
Again, WOOT!!!
Glitcher
I ordered Megs and Starscream from eBay for €54 ($84), including shipping. It was the cheapest I could find, really.

i personally dug the galaxy force boxes…they were funky and different.
Robogeek28
You didn't like the Galaxy Force packaging?
Wierd, I loved it, ah well.
Razorclaw
I would have had to agree with you on this if it wasn't for the lousy Galaxy Force packaging and now this Henkei line. I think that Cybertron and Classics packaging are better than their Japanese counterparts.
Bumble Prime
wow 45 bucks………
glad i got my megs for 30 bucks from some other awesomely priced retail site

I preorderedcthis as soon as I saw it. Can't wait for it to ship. And forget about the ug-box, my complete classics collection is displayed loose in a cabinet anyway. The old Megatron is relegated to Megaplex as soon as the new bad ass jappanomatic gets here.
KidDynamite
I've read before that Japanese collectors think our packaging is cooler than theirs. The grass is always greener on the other side I think.
Autovolt 127
The packaging is well the ugliest packaging ever….But if i was Japanese i'd still get them, It's the classics so it makes up for it.
Basketball Jones
I'm tempted to order from BBTS, given digital-toys damaged the packaging on one of my Encore reissues.
Still, they're two bucks cheaper and these figures definitely aren't staying MISB.
Railguard
Why is it that the Japan toy packaging no matter what it is always looks cooler than what I see here in the states. I dunno.
Xformermike
Makes me even more sick when I look at the US release now.
Damn you Japan and your almost always superior color choices!! … I guess it might help seeing the fans reactions to the first color releases in the U.S. when it comes time to manufacture and release over there…. that or maybe they're just smarter… or maybe it's a toy law thing… who the hell knows.. either way gotta pick this one up for sure!
lookinglasself
Same here.

Good thing I cancelled my Megatron pre-order on Thursday then! Got it cheaper on eBay direct from Japan…
