Reprolabels January Update: Vehicons, Bludgeon and More

i love sideswipes, i just wish there was an update for the igear van brothers included in this update

I already picked up the Giant, Vehicon and MP-12 stickers.

I wonder why the GDO Megatron stickers didn't go up? I was looking forward to those.

Agreed, hope they get around to doing those guys soon.

Love the Bludgeon kit.

Bludgeon's and Sideswipe's sets look pretty nice.

I wish the Vehicon set included the large lower leg sticker - the one on my Arms Micron release is already peeling a bit on the sides.

I don't think a ginormous red sticker on the hood is going to look any better than the giant autobot symbol that is already there, which I don't really mind, anyways.

Am I the only one who went @ "Gary" license plate? Emgo is gonna be proud!

Why upgrade stickers for MP-12? There are far more figures in need of sticker therapy over this guy like TFP Ultra Magnus

Unfortunately, the shape of that part of the figure doesn't allow for a sticker to cover it. The curves are just too much. I ended up leaving off those on my AM figs.

Bludgeon set is a MUST GET. GDO Springer, ditto. I really like the PRID vehicon ones, and it looks like I'm getting enough to detail up my Vehicons too.

Ultra Magnus set PLEASE!

Yeah, I definitely get that from having mine in hand (plus the Jet Vehicons too). I guess I was hoping for a three-part sticker (basically what I wish Takara would've done) so even if some of the plastic is left visible, you still get the gist of it without having to fold the sticker over that curved part of the leg. I've thought about just cutting the current sticker myself to do that.

That aside though, it's still a cool set. I may pick it up anyways to add some extra details and officially own a "Steve" and "Gary."

To be honest I was going to pass on the Vehicon set until I saw "Gary" and "Steve" LOVE IT. This might get pricey to get a set for each one of my little squad. (Got more since now they are so easy to find now around here.)

As for Magnus, I posted a thread on the Reprolabels board. It was stated that they might wait until the next Prime season starts to see if he is in it.

Honestly I think if you did the following it would really complete the figure:

-White knees
-White strips below the red on his chest
-Stripe on his fake door chest
-Headlights for truck/shoulders

Is "Frank" a tribute to Frank Welker? That's extremely cool, and I might hide that somewhere on my GDO Megatron.

Love that Sideswipe set. There's a lot there to pick from, even if you don't want to use them all.

Silver/Chrome for his ab area (he has a shiny middle like Prime does on the side of the box)

Tail Lights

Some white or red to fill in the square shapes on his chest (that split in half)

Craig, et al - Any chance you guys will do an AM Smokescreen set? I've held off applying the Takara ones in the hopes that you'd come out with a set. I know the Beast Hunters version looks to be more show accurate but I honestly like the AM one. A Reprolabels set would complete him for me.

i was hoping for a prime ultra maguns Reprolabes set! cause the hasbro versionn is so bare!!!!! need stickers for that! or else might paint some spots on it!

Looks good, I bought the set for Sideswipe, going to leave off the ones on the shoulder cannon and on the hood though.

Sideswipe is definitely one of the MPs that needed a bit more detail compared to the other MPs. (especially since mine stands next to Perfect Effect RC).

Ive thought about it. I left the stickers off of mine, too. With the announcement of the Beast Hunters version, though, I wasn't sure how much interest there would be.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I suppose demand should be the driving factor for you guys, opposed to my whimsical desires =) Nonetheless, great work on this month's sets.

If nothing else, just makes him easier to resell, right?
