Of the known Function-X figures, both not-Chromedome and not-Minerva are 4-wheeled vehicles with a pair of scoped rifles. The packing on the order page seems to indicate that it'll be not-Chromedome, or at least a not-Chromedome redeco.

Function X is supposed to be their take on Headmasters figures. This is more than likely Chromedome.

Awesome, I don't know if i'll have the money before the 16th, but if I do, I'll preorder.

Or will that not even matter? cuz they don't charge til it arrives, right? so then I can totally preorder and have the money ready by early 2013. I think I'll do that. and $20 wholesale means $30-$40 retail price, so that's a lot of toys to donate. Good for BBTS, even if they do just take old action figures from their clearance inventory, it's a good thing for everyone.

bbts only had 500 in stock to start. Is this limited run exclusive to bbts? if so, likely a repaint. Like I mentioned, could be steel core repaint.

You know, reading this, it sounds like it's also a way for BBTS to write off a ton of inventory they've probably been unable to unload, despite trying to clear it out.

I won't be surprised if stuff like PRiD Bumblebee finally goes out of stock.

It says specifically that's its the f(x) line though, meaning it must be one of the headmasters.

I want Chromedome anyway, and $20 to T4T is a cool deal. Even if this ends up being a vanilla version of the toy, I don't mind. I want the toy and some kids get a better Christmas.

Hoping that it includes something unique though. Maybe a US-style head instead of a Japanese one? (or the other way round, I forget which they went with) Or a unique gun or accessory.

interesting that it tops defender in weight. anything by fp that weighs that much for that price has to be a steal.

yeah, face on the box was the kicker. it'll be cool to see those TFT bbts donation pics when they put them up. I didn't donate to any major charities for xmas yet this year, so hopefully that helps whoever needs it. hopefully they can sell out this stock fast.
