BBTS Shared Exclusive Fall of Cybertron G2 Bruticus Pre-orders are Live!

Just got in my preorder. Thanks for the heads up.

So I guess Amazon IS sold out, because the deal as I understood was that amazon got the first crack at it and then BBTS got it after they sold out of preorders. It happened a lot earlier than expected..

... was that actually proven? I thought it was just conjecture.

Well, if amazon never puts it back up, it'll be proven. It was a shared exclusive and it seemed weird that amazon was allowed to sell it but BBTS had to wait til sept. Now BBTS is putting it up after the amazon one sold out after a long stretch. It just seems logical, I guess. But no, never proven.

Nothing but speculation.

For those that got the email with the link, how many do they have? Just curious as I already ordered mine from amazon...

Tried clicking through to the store - nothing.

Funny, people accuse BBTS of over charging on international shipping, but what they're quoting for shipping me a G2 Bruticus is only very slightly more than what Amazon are quoting.

So was this an exclusive email offer?

conjecture - amazon probably got a lot of g2 bruticus preorders this week after people couldnt get their hands on an SDCC exclusive.

Not sure why they don't want the link posted. I was gonna order a second one through them to keep boxed. But all this cloak and dagger shit is annoying. Looks like I'll just get one.

Best guess is that the aren't planning on this being the final pre-order price.

conjecture with a bit of bias - I think some of the video reviews out may have made people reconsider paying the going rate on the SDCC version, Aside from that, before SDCC started
there seemed to be fairly strong support for the G2 color anyway (?)

as of now only 650 remain...since i posted and ordered 1 it was at 791

pre-ordered mine, I don't like the Swindle and Onslaught, so I'll probably buy thier retail forms for the group....but I realized that A) $60 is essentially a free figure and B) This release is the best paint job for Vortex and Blast off.....and Brawl is essentially the same in all three releases.

He was up for about 30 minutes at a time. I got lucky, but I don't blame them for not being online constantly.

I think I'm getting retail Blast Off. Not because I dislike this Blast Off, but because I REALLY like the mold, and I wouldn't mind getting it two months before the rest of the team.

Swindle... I don't like the figure. He's as generic as they come, and WHY IS HIS VISOR ORANGE.

Unlike Unicron, Camo-bling-icus was easily up for like a week straight. Yeah, I get not camping out for one like SDCC Brownicus or Amazonicron, but this wasn't like that.

Also, I do find it kind of weird that Brawl is the only fig that's currently sold out for regular retail pre-order. What's up with that?

I bet the difference in the shipping cost is because BBTS is going to use a bigger box and actually throw some bubble wrap in there too, unlike Amazon which uses the smallest box possible for cheap shipping.

Yeah, I had no problem getting him either, and I just clicked it casually after the HTS debacle, in anticipation of the massive wave of people who didn't get SDCC Bruticus.

There will obviously be more for people to order, when release date is 3-4 months away. This is far from a "sell out".

Wouldn't count on that. Hasbro can't make any money of the general retail toys at $15 plus a whack, if people are only buying $60 5 pack G2. Might see 1 restock for BBTS, and I'll bet that Amazon is done for Bruticus.

Then we get to see the repaints 6 months to a year down the road that are once again exculsive to a certain store or site

I prefer the more unified look of SDCC version. A group of military vehicles should look, I dunno, "military colors"

Meh, I'll wait for BBTS to clearance this in six months, and maybe I'll buy it with their clearanced Piranacon reissue. Good to see these exclusives working out so well for us...

so the 59.99 price is the set price? not a placeholder? i only ask because the site list the individual collection of all 5 for 104.99.

Ordered mine around 9am after getting home from the gym. Glad I got a shot at these again after I screwed myself not ordering at Amazon.

What a day, got complimented by a hot woman, wore myself out and now get to order this for me and my son for Christmas.

Yes 59.99 is the SET price. BBTS must be contractually obligated to sell them at the same price point as Amazon

I really hope this does well enough for all the companies involved so we get more exclusives distributed in this way. This is how easy the majority of fan-centric exclusives should be to obtain.
