This episode stays consistent with the "BotCon 2009 review" storyline, as well as much needed character development for American Personality Vangelus, now known as Vange1us on YouTube. While this fact has not been confirmed, the rumor that Vangelus' Shattered Glass counterpart is a calm and not-very-wordy man named Vange1us is starting to lean towards being confirmed. Oh, there was also a little comment on Omega Spreem which I thought was great. But I bet I could take him on in a fight.
Despite these much needed plot points, however, I feel this episode suffers from its constant homages and references to past material, and the ending simply pushed it to the breaking point. I'm not saying this because they totally shunned my favorite one, the "Legends are for poor children" joke, but... come on... They went so far as to use the "Coffee and donuts" joke, which is so obscure no casual fan will even understand it! Why not use the lines people actually know, idiots? This all goes back to Omegus' comment on the Unicron Trilogy dub using a joke no kid would understand.
Overall, it was an episode that was following a steady flow of consistency, but was crippled by relying on reused material. Guys, come up with new jokes, please. You're making my head hurt.

But seriously, great episode. XD And I also happen to think the POOR CHILDREN line should've been dropped, but no big deal.  Good to have Drew back - again.

Ah, okay, so Vangelus doesn't have a ton of one-of-a-kind pre-release toys. I've been curious about that! (Well, my initial response was a firm ಠ_ಠ and it's not quite a surprise to hear that disconfirmed)
Jolt has big round blue eyes like Breakaway. But Jolt is more 'am i kawaii uguu~' whereas Breakaway is constantly on the verge of tears.

Seth, did Vangelus set you up with that line about the tape on the box being crazy or was that just coincidence that it flowed perfectly into Tyrese's opening line in the intermission?

I guess it was coincidence, after relistening to Seth describe the "fun" of getting star convoy out of the package.

Basically I thought Seth's tape line was amusing, then I wanted to use part of the Tyreese audio, and then noticed they flowed like that and patted myself on the back.

Vang did a really good job editing the sound on that. The raw recording the crowd is crazy loud compared to the people on stage.
