I was glad to hear you folks talk about the upcoming Battle Tanker Magnus set.

The price is downright scary, but being a HUGE fan of Magnus, I'm all over it as well. Unfortunately, I'm one of those who actually don't have the actual Botcon SG Magnus figure. And so, I've improvised using the mass-released Combat Hero Prime from Wal-Mart, with some Reprolabels and additional paint tweaks to make it more closely resemble the Botcon toy...

The head on the MT SG Prime trailer is actually slightly different. It has a big crack molded into the faceplate.

While the Transformers one is well done and had a ton of effort put into it, this will always be the best Gangnam Style parody. It even avoids the two-syllable thing. It replaces FOUR syllables!

Edit: Listening on, remember when Canadian Tire had that Mini-Con ten pack for $40? And it was the only place to get it in Canada? And then it went down to $15 after months of it not selling.

For a bit there, I thought Vangelus was going to break out into a Micro Machines commercial during that giant listener question.

only made it into the opening bit, thanks to the new stupid iPhone app not actually downloading the podcast when i told it to, but i really think the blind packed Microns could be a great idea. and i'm a huge fan of blind packed items... I think my wife and i just hit over 50 Disney Vinylmations, which are super addictive. plus i get the Lego and Kreon minifigs. reminds me of all the weird vinyl toys that Kid Robot does, and helps feed my addiction for more stuff. can't wait to listen to the rest.

As far as the stand, I've just been careful with it and UFO is displayed on my shelf using it, hovering behind Red Alert and Smokescreen. He looks fantastic.

Hey Gog, do you have a picture reference for how you described Rumble? I can't visualize it.

I really dig that mold. Was totally set to pass on him until I played with it, now he's one of my favorites. I dig the molded detail on the inside of the long car panels. They look like g1 rumbles blasters

In regard to the Kreon vests. I did it with mine right after getting them, and it works out great. Unfortunately you can't do it with Spinister, as he needs both sides. I also figured out an alternate configuration for Crankstart's robot mode. You just flip the vest around, and put the windshield on his back.

I don't think that Fun Publications really hates third parties as much as they claim to. They probably think it's neat like most other fans, and like the add-on accessories (maybe not the stand alone toys) to their toys. They just can't say so publically.
