iPhone is jacked up, listening @ double speed. Happy 4 year guys. I still remember talking to Chris about this show at Botcon 08 in Cincinnati in the bar of the con hotel. Glad it's lasted. Funny thing I heard a guy named Jesse from a similar cast(that didn't last) on a similar cast(that shall not last) recently. Sad group of characters. Makes me grateful for Seth and the gang. Thanks for everything you do, keep it up gentlemen.
ORIO
Colin looks like he's about to stab that guy in the back of the head

I really LOVE the pictures. They add to the experience of listining to the podcast in a a way I can't really describe.
Godzilock Prime
Also I really liked how long this episode was.

No problem on the help on AM Breakdown Vangelus, was a SERIOUS pain for me as well >.>
SeekerofTruth20
Thank you gents for your time in creating these awesome podcasts! Thank you for the informative discussions, your thoughts and opinions and the laughs. You guys are top notch! Here's to another 4!
TrueNomadSkies
Great, now I'm wanting that dark energon Bumblebee...

Aaron, Airachnids tail splits not to look like more legs but because she actually has those coat tails in the show.
shamanking282
First off, congrats on 4 years guys.

Secondly, on the question of toy generations, I would say we have entered a new generation engineering-wise starting with DotM and continuing with PRiD, though I do think there was some crossover since I feel Prime FE fit more with the last generation, which I consider to be Animated-Generations 2010.
red00wolf
I would just like to add that the new ratbat is not just a laserbeak repaint but has a remoulded head and tail with lil bat legs.
Lumpy
Sweet SDCC goodness!

i find the Zombie Cliffjumper coming out being very odd as well, but i wonder if it's something to do with them having the SDCC version in place beforehand, then TRU saying they'd like that version of the mold as well? who knows... great podcast so far though guys...
xion14
Didn't notice it was the the zombie verison they're releasing. Might of skippeda regular Cliffjumper since I have the RID.

To the subject of the chapter images and the difficulties of showing more of them to follow the discussion;

easy solution- just post the image links next to a brief chapter breakdown in the first post of every thread.

example, Aaron's off topic:

Item 1
Item 2
Item 3

For the fourth time, neither my Zune nor my computer can play m4as. I would use them if I could, but I just plain can't.

That's why we also have an MP3 version for download, albeit manually.

When I saw Vagelus's video and when he talked about putting Cyclops in water all I had going in the back of my head was Will it Float 4/18/08 - YouTube

And in regard to to pop up head action on Shockwave Seth Erickson - Here is a crudy video demoing something they talked about on #208 of the podcast

I'm surprised you guys didn't mention that it's Kreon Long Haul who we're missing and not Mixmaster.

It felt right for an anniversary podcast thread. Sorry.
Lbsammills51
Just an FYI, there was a Firefly 10th anniversary panel this year at SDCC, on Friday. It was the most intense and emotional panel I've ever been to in four years of going. Nathan Fillion was openly weeping throughout half of the panel and Joss Whedon broke down toward the end, and the crowd gave the cast a LOUD standing ovation. Very cool to see.
ORIO
I'm loving my AM Breakdown as well. I'm surprised you guys didn't mention anything about how light the figure feels. He almost feels like a model to me.

I didn't sticker him up though. I'm enjoying him naked. The Rhinohammer got stickered though.

Holy hell, the sound of Cyclops' waist sounds like nails on a chalk board. I grit my teeth when I heard that noise.
Orodruin
TJ, if you need a new mic Target currently carries a Samson mic with both USB and XLR outputs. I've got a different Samson USB mic they carried years ago and it's pretty solid.

Download iTunes, you can listen on your computer and see the pictures. I don't think there's a way to do mp3's with images, but I could be wrong.

Oh good, I'm not the only one that thought they seem to be using a less dense plastic with this figure.
Rhinox
I DL the MP3 because i have a cheapo MP3 player for my route. I don't have anything that will play your other format, so that's why I don't DL it.

I felt this way too. The lack of pins and screws are really making it feel cheap to me.

How can you see the pictures on iTunes?
Gojira Prime
Guys! You didn't talk about Gurren Lagann crossovers!

Seriously, I love Vangelus' Protoman impression.

I download the M4A through iTunes.

I always respect your guys' real lives. I have learned patience with the internet because I'm special. My mom tells me every day.

I haven't made a cartoon because I can't draw worth shit.

Aaron mumbles too much. That's my one complaint. I wanna hear what Aaron's saying buy he's all low talking and I'm like "WHAT?"
TfAnimatedfan
I noticed that when you guys started talking about the different toys within a topic the picture changed without the chapter marking changing. I don't know if that was intentional, but if it was then it's pretty cool and did not go unnoticed. I like you guys adding more of a visual aspect to the show like that.

Maybe that's why Hasbro isn't talking about this toy yet if at all.

Re: Airachnid's split tail.

It's part of her character model.

Regarding pictures, why don't you just include them in the first post of the thread?

M4A.

Edit: Wait, in the listener question section Vangelus mentions the images not being able to change without a new chapter marking, yet this is exactly what happened with the images I was talking about. So, I'm guessing that the image changes I mentioned were unintentional.

I just figured it out the other day. Bottom left of the iTunes window, there's the plus sign, random, repeat and another button that's a box with a triangle in it. click that, it makes a small window with the pictures. then, if you click on the picture in that window, it'll make it a separate window, which you can then change the size of. I set mine nice and big, so that when i hit my expose (i'm on mac) i can see the picture clearly amongst all my other open windows.

Lumpy knows his way around.

I personally think none of you guys have given a hard enough review on Airachnid.

I'll wait for Omegus or Seth to get her and rip her to shreds...

I'm also very happy to see that Kre-o is getting some blind packed kreons. Something I would like to see (probably not possible but still) are a Gigatank and Megajet in blind packs that could combine into Overlord! Again, probably not possible but that would be awesome to see!
Ryoku
So podcast guys.. You seem super pumped about the voyager Soundwave tapes. I feel I should show you guys these:

(Sorry for the crappy pictures.)

These guys are available for sale via Shapeways. They come unpainted and are a little expensive for their size but they are SUPER poseable and turn into drives that fit inside his chest. I HIGHLY recommend them. Worst case, get someone else to paint them for you.

I would hire you as head of brainstorming sir!

What do I have to do now to Kobayashi-san?!

Anyhow here, the CG prototype for Masterpiece Galvatron (Well not really, but enjoy)

As for the femme-bot question

Fictionally the explaination for females in Transformers boils down the to the Original 13, according to Aaron Archer at Botcon 2010, the 13 make up for 1/13th of each type of Transformer and THUS Solus Prime makes up for the femme-bots and why they are so limited (also why they exist).

Arcee while not the first of the female Transformers, that going to Elita-1 and her crew (some like to count Nightbird for some reason in that), she was part of the 1986 Movie, and for the longest time during those tender years from the 90s into the 2000s, before DVD releases and the ease of Youtube, the easiest way to get your G1 fix was to go to the local video store and rent a VHS of the 1986 movie which was more accessable then the FHS G1 Season 1 episodes issued by Marvel Productions. For many (be it ignorant), Arcee was "their" first female Transformer, and being first puts her in a special place in many people's hearts.

Not to mention the Transformers The Movie 1986 is a lot more easier to sit down and watch almost 30 years later instead of any Season 1 episode......... so she was already in good company.

.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm outta here.
