Vangelus is going hug the screen when he sees the mid-credit scene!

It's a non-CGI reveal
MovieGodOptimus
Wait if puns make Vangelus mad... then why does he like "Painwheel"? Isn't that a pun as well?
Reigner
Ha! at Rhinox Botshot
optimusfan
Oh I'm listening Aaron, always listening...

And no problem grabbing the extra KREO. Considering the hours of free entertainment I get from the podcast it's the least I can do.

Time to hear about Botcon huals!!
Computron34
Friday morning the exclusives were still limited to 2 per person. But yeah, Sunday needs to be the day the limit is lifted, not Saturday.
T16skyhopp
Rhinox botshot ftw
Rodentus prime
I had exactly the same thought when you were talking about the lights....
ORIO
Vangelus, do you have a pic of your Knockout transformation? I have mine transformed the way Sol did his in the feedback thread
shamanking282
So Vangelus, how much would I have to pay you in Nutter Butter for all of your FE Vehicons?
ORIO
Wait a sec... You guys didn't talk about the steak!

You're in for a surprise.
Aaron
I will apologize here as well for anyone and everyone's names who I forgot of flubbed. Fatigue and the like messed with mah brain.
Valkysas
I thought Vangelus said he picked up Giant Set A during the botcon talk? He didn't talk about them at all in "what we got". I was hoping to hear what he thought about them. I guess next podcast, then.

I thought he said he preordered it.
Vangelus
Yeah, just preordered. It's on Order-On-Hold at Automaton until set C comes out.
TrueNomadSkies
Wait, wasn't Aaron already a moderator for like, a long time?

Granted only 2 of the 6 are seen in the SG comic (I only have the botcon comic) it is kinda clear they are in Rachet's colors.

Wingnut
Vangelus,

Your attitude takes the pun out of everything.

My God. Aaron has to have the biggest Cyb. Vehicon collection that'll ever exist. It's over 20 now, if I counted correctly?
Aaron
I talked to a friend of mine at BotCon who has a goal of 150 Cyberverse Vehicons. To him I say good luck and good hunting, I'm out.
Sideways77
I find that straight up insane, personally. It's just 30 bucks, but that'll be one big shelf.

(Says the guy with 1 Cyb. Vehicon)

But how many Vehicons is that now, Aaron? I lost track last time you talked about them.

I assume that wasn't just picking them up at retail right? You'd need to raid several retail sites and put some Junkion Exchange classifieds to hit that many.
TrueNomadSkies
Well either that, or just be vigilant in following Alucard's rules.

24 Cyberverse. 1 Japansese, with two more of them in my PoL at BBTS waiting for a preorder to drop.

I don't know where he's getting them all from, but I'd believe it...
ORIO
Good lord. 150? ...the hell???
TrueNomadSkies
Yeah, he might have to order them from Megatron directly...

i'm not sure if i was the one you meant, but i dropped 3k to you during blackjack... i turned 300 into 3k at roulette, then got bored and decided i needed to go drink more... glad you got something cool out of it, hopefully you can get something fun for them at TFCon... i wish i could go to TFCon... this summer is just too busy with vacations already...

once you open all your vehicons, you should post a pic of the army...

and i'm bummed i missed the Steppers for 90... ORIO told me about them, and when i got over, they seemed to not have any left... i ended up getting one for 112, which isn't bad, but 90 would've been more awesome...

and i'm totally having Botcon blues... that trip was so much fun, and i want it to happen again...

Vangelus needs to remember, if I didn't let him play he wouldn't have gotten to amass that massive pile of green chips

Just an FYI, for the Hasbro booth at SDCC, at least for the past few years (I've attended the past three and went to the Hasbro booth each year) they hand out a little flyer/advertisement of all of the at-show exclusives and they DO list a max number of amounts for each exclusive. Some are higher than others, but there are supposed to be limits.

I've seen people walk off with a ton of crap, but from what I could tell they purchased the max amount of every single frickin exclusive offered and still in stock.

Whether some people are able to get around the limits that the Hasbro people have set, I can't say I've seen it in the past three years.

I wish I'd kept one of those flyers from past years that showed how many of each you're allowed to buy.

I can't speak for the Mattel booth at SDCC though.
Sachriel
okay just to comment on the whole debate of Shafter. I wouldn't say its Grapple they are paying homage to but instead Erector!

i think part of the way around that is if you have a few friends (or employees) standing in line with you, and you give them money for each limited amount, you can walk away with 3-4 times the limited amount.

That's certainly true and I'm SURE that happens at SDCC...but unfortunately that's hard to prevent from happening.

People's badges are usually stamped with individual stamps for that day as well so people can't just get back in line constantly simply because they're there that day, but people aren't blocked from getting in line each day as long as they get their badge stamp/ticket or whatever, so that's another way around things.

A little different than someone walking away with $21K in Junkions at one time though.

oh, i absolutely agree... walking away with 210 sets is ridiculous for any one person to do, dealer or not... I think a limit of 10 or 20 per hour or something should be imposed for Saturday, then anything on sunday can be first come, first serve. that'll probably still allow for a sell out at the show, as well as allow fans that are at the con to get the toys while at the con.
juise
For shame! I get mentioned twice in this podcast, and no one knows my name!
xion14
Never truly saw how hilarious the twist-tie headband joke was until I got a twist-tie to try it. It just takes a few seconds to bend it into the Botcon headband shape.
