I also sent him a KO G1 Prowl that he forgot to mention.
SPLIT LIP:
Sweet. Download is starting.
Enigma2K2:
He said in one of his YouTube videos that it was one of his regretted decisions, never getting it, and I had a spare with a broken hinge, so I just offered to give it to him... I even paid for the shipping.

What the hell's so random about that?

And I'm not going to give you the satisfaction Vangelus... videotaping the repair is OPTIONAL.
SpencimusPrime:
I feel like my question sucked because of Last week's onethatis question.
secretcode:
Happy 100th Release!

And what exactly IS a 3.5?

Thanks again for sending it... and the repair will NOT be video taped, as it requires boiling water and I will not risk poaching my camera.
Scaleface:
Why does Fearswoop need a story about growing to immense size? He's a freaking jet fighter, and should be about 50 feet tall, while the tiny Autobot cars are between 10 and 15 feet tall. They are already about to scale with each other.
Riltht:
Listening now.
Empir3:
Totally agree about trades being a much better medium to read all the stories in. Plus easier to catch up on for people new to a series or in this case the collectors club. Thats how i really got into the Authority (READ IT IF YOU HAVENT)

...naked female Silver Surfer? ...sombody's been reading my fanfics!
CarafelliusMaximus:
So I've got a question. You guys mentioned that the people on the boards, the mods, contributors and so forth, do have a little more weight behind what they say regarding Transformers as a whole. And if you want to even break it down farther, the posters who, maybe aren't neccessarily mods, but have a high number of posts, probably are more knowledgeable than most. However, would you agree that, the knowledge of a large or frequent poster may only pertain to happenings on the boards, and maybe not neccessarily Transformers knowledge overall?

Also, how would you gauge a member who maybe doesn't have a large number of posts, who is not active, but still has a quality knowledge base? Where do they fall?
The Nerdformer:
What is 3.5!!!??? anyway, downloadin now. why do people even say that?anyschways.... I'll Post some stuff after i watch
Vangelus:
A #3.5 is when you #1 and #2 while suffering from #0.5.

Generally there are two categories:

-->VANGELUS<--
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
-->EVERYONE ELSE<--

A lot of people try to sub-categorize the lower category, but it's really a waste of time.

I believe the others who brought up knowledge bases meant general TF fandom questions that have been answered in the past, not specific knowledge of one or two messageboards themselves. ie: Since they've heard answers and details on things that may not be widely known, they can provide that information themselves to assist discussion.

Otherwise as I'd said myself, trying to gauge or rank people as fans for any reason outside of fun or practicality is dumb and stupid. I think higher or lower of people based on things that are irrelevant to the specifics of their chosen interests or geekdoms.

Lol! Ok, that makes a little more sense now. I do see how it would pay to be active on boards, but I still have trouble getting into the forum mentality.

See, this is why I don't like you.... you have the humility of a plate of warm chicken.[/sarcasm]

And before anyone else asks, No. I only have one THS Galaxy Convoy left, and I'm keeping it. Sorry.
Scaleface:
Hey, on your talk on canabalistic Transformers, did you think of Powermasters from Marvel, where organics power Transformers? What if the Powermaster partner was a cannibal?

Have you seen the B-Movie Moontrap? It has Alien robots who build bodies of spare mechanical parts and dead human bodies?

Quick, quick... spot the spokesman for alternative lifestyles...

He's practically a "gay" Batman, right? How cool is that?

I think the bio is more along the lines of why these two main characters who have a deluxe sized toy as their main seller now are in a smaller size than deluxe.

Of course. I guess in my rambling I meant more attention should be given to those that have been around longer. Not more posts necessarily = more knowledge. Just that more knowledgeable posts = more knowledge... if that makes sense. Those guys that have been around and active in at least reading since Orson's World. The people that have been to Hasbro Q&A sessions, that sort of thing. I am sure there are plenty of very knowledgeable people out there that don't have any post counts.

I guess it all comes down to (to me at least) there isn't a hierarchy. Sure one person may know more about Powermasters or the design scheme of the 1988 line than someone else, but that doesn't make them any better than anyone else.

Except for Vangelus.

Still makes no sense since the Legends car toys are about in scale with a Deluxe jet. This is pretty accurate. No reason to make a story about giant Fearswoop. If Fearswoop was in scale with a Deluxe car, he'd probably be a Leader class toy.

Can you even find a copy of TFCC: Balancing Act anymore? I would love to be able to read the five years worth of comic at one time. Wiki's and the individual comics are hard to follow.

As always, great podcast. You guys continue to keep me entertained and coming back week after week.
Thelbert:
It had to be done.
samtastic:
Great podcast. I enjoy your show a lot. Carnivorous transformers is a thing of beauty.

One request: Do some interviews with transformerfolk! Why don't you get Derrick Wyatt or Marty Isenberg on the show? Love to here you guys throw it around. Okay, thanks. See ya.

Mr. Vangelus.....what is #0.5?
Ezilla82:
This is got to be the most weirdiest podcast I've ever heard, from Powermasters to what zombie Transformers. But, I can deal with the ramblings of Vangelus to a point that I can personally block him out of my mind and eventually he kinda sounds like static. Anyways despite it being weird it was interesting. Thanks fellas.
