Dude, what the hell?

Also, Vangelus. Try Zellers for Target exclusives, they usually pick them up.
Demonss:
Here is my plot theory for TF3, as you pointed out the all spark and matrix were deleted:

Movie 3, the remaining autobots and the human alliance are going to invade cybertron (in an attempt to take it back). By the end of the movie cybertron will be blown up.
Epic bay style.. :-D
Keroshino:
Hey...I like Metal Gear Solid 2

As did I! But the plot was ridiculous and unsalvageable.

Word of advice people: Those WTF@TFW Genetic Brandings hurt.
GogDog:
BTW, none of us were cutting Seth off, his Audio track is delayed a little for some reason.
soundwaveCA:
I think Bay & Co threw the logic rule book out the window a long time ago and they will spend nothing in TF3 trying to explain anything. Bay reminds me of a little child in his movie making were he will just throw in everything and anything that immediately comes to mind without thinking how it's all going to line up and make sense. I think your giving these people way to much credit thinking that they will try and go back and make sense of anything they've done before.
shumworld:
I'm excited for Bludgeon. Just not $120 excited. xp
Wodicus:
I loved that discussion you guys had on the last listener question. I agreed with Gog Dog's point that the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons is crucial to the story, but does not have to be the main focus.

The idea of a story focusing around the origins of that conflict is one that I have actually wanted to see told myself. I like the idea of a Transformers series aimed at older audiences, making it a little more dramatic rather then cartoonish and aimed at children. I have also considered the idea of a series based around perhaps a second Great War, where the Autobots had one the first war. The idea would be something like the Decepticons have been thought to be long gone, either they integrated into the Autobots or died out, either way the Decepticons are thought to passed into history. Then one day there is a terrorist like bombing of an Autobot military outpost, or a civilian building where we would follow the characters who are sent to investigate this bombing (and continue to follow them as they uncover the deeper layers of the mystery) and discover signs that it was done by Decepticons. Like a 'Con symbol burned into the wall with some sort of slogan, or a badge or icon in the ruble.

I would see it being sort of a smaller cast like in Animated, you know following a character like say Nightbeat or someone a little lesser known, and their team as they stumble across the re-emergence of the Decepticons ready to plunge Cybertron into a new war.

Well, that is just my thoughts on a more mature Transformers series that I know Hasbro is probably never even going to look at, let a lone do.

I thought that Vangelus' idea of a series focusing on the united Cybertronian race over throwing the Quintessons, and then following as the different factions emerge as the Cybertronians frature into two different ideological hemispheres. Something exploring the actually ideology of each faction, like what do they stand for other then the typical good vs. bad sort of stuff. As well as you know seeing relationships, like maybe something like Thundercracker and Bluestreak being best friend before the war, but an incident after the defeat of the Quintessons drives a wedge between them that forces them to choose sides and end their friendship.

Though again, I think we will never see a TV series that would follow themes and story arcs like this. We might be lucky and someday someone might take a stab at with a comic series, but even then I doubt it.

I think it is a little sad that Hasbro won't do this, but I suppose there is no point in really crying over milk that will never be spilt.

You are going to poop on me for talking games with all that game stuff in you sig? But don't fear I have almost nothing to do with the MGS talk.

Keep it clean!

I have no problem with you talking about games, its just you are never happy/nor praise them when you talk about games. Its makes me cry.

Its just too much to handle, too much I say
Chosen:
No fear! No pain! Not my favorite theme, but it is rocking. And anything's better than the Ultraman Gaia opening theme.

I really have no desire whatsoever to dwell on TF3 or Michael Bay or most certainly not Megan Fox, haha. Maybe next year!

Never played any Metal Gear game due to lack of the "awesome" consoles (only Wii for now). Or Chrono Trigger! But I would fully endorse and listen to a totally-off-topic video game TFW episode or even series, were Vangelus inspired/crazy enough to try it.

You know, that last listener question discussion didn't mention the Japanese stuff that we've gotten. Violen Jiger and Legion, for example, are quite out there. But considering how simple/WTF those stories get, and that they don't delve into what sets them apart from Decepticons, I like the answers you guys had to share much, much more.
SPLIT LIP:
I wish they talked more about video games. like had a little section for it. that'd be really interesting.

Ones the only games we normaly get to talk about are TF ones and they have only been ok at best that's the problem. Now if we where talking about something rad then I might turn that sad face to happy
SPLIT LIP:
Maybe if enough people ask for one you guys could maybe add a video game segment? I don't really know hwo many of you play video games, though. :/

We get scolded when we got too far off topic.
GMfan101:
What would be the point of a video game segment when this is a Transformers podcast and the are so few Transformers games and so little to talk about them?

If people want a podcast about video games....I dunno try searching for a video game and adding that to your playlist?
SPLIT LIP:
Then Hasbro needs to make more TF video games.
GMfan101:
So add a video game segment for something Hasbro should do....why not make an entirely hypothetical TF podcast? What a wonderful waste of time that would be

So there's a video game podcast out there starring one or both teams of WTF dudes? And I didn't know about it?

You don't seem to get it. I could listen to these guys discuss a dictionary and it would probably be enjoyable.

You... do know I'm not being entirely serious, right?
Recall:
The entire WTF & TFW crew do need to do a video game podcast. Replace "what we got this week", with "what we played this week". And during the intermission we can have Seth give us tips for the latest challenging game. Vangelus can let us know what random yet insanely cool gamer merch he picked up and mr plastic addict rips a new one into some new terrible shitty game.

See it writes itself
Shockwave1138:
no extra imax footage, what?? :-O

Links to pirated movie footage removed.

in case you did not notice extra footage, among those bits that i remember:
Prime kicking Grindor.
Starscream falling down (yeah, ha ha) after getting kicked in the face by Prime.
Grindor shooting Prime with his machine gun before getting elbowed by Prime.
Prime destroying Starscream's saw-weapon (confirming it WAS starscream who cut the Saturn in half, not just a tool he was using :-P )
A couple seconds of Optimus owning the 'Cons.

and on top of that, if you listen to the track from the Score, then listen to the soundtrack behind the imax version, you can hear where it was artificially lengthened to make room for said extra scenes!

and by the way, i don't appreciate the dissing of people with numbers in their name! I CHOSE to use numbers in my name because they MEAN something XD

(this nerd rage has been brought to you by Haterade, the official drink of nerds everywhere. Haterade, for those days that REALLY suck.
Must be 18 and older, please drink responsibly.)

Let's both chill. I'm not the one getting snarky and sarcastic for no reason at all. I think you need to take a step back and assess. I was just messin' around.
GogDog:
Okay, let's all chill out.
Opticron Primal:
Breakaway never gets the love he deserves.

Where is the love......

The love........the lo-ove....

Where is the love, the love, the love?

My Breakaway's destroyed.

I'M SORRY, I didn't know that! It won't happen again!

optimusfan:
Epic Gogdog rants!! You said what needed to be said about ROTF and concerns about the movie-verse "stories" moving forward. Loved the music Vangelus dubbed in as well. Double Ali G-style respekt to you both.
Silent_Magnus:
For the listener question.
I think a pre-beast wars show set on a "united" Cybertron would be cool.

I can think of two scenerios that would work well.

1. The heroes are a group similar to the MaxCorps, and the antagonists could be various criminal organizations(like Cryotek's).

2. A more spacefaring show with pirates and other alien races and what-not.

edit: The reason factions are needed is because in order to sell toys. You need to have giant robots beating the crap out of each other.
matrixprime:
Loved the metal gear solid rant.
