Transformers Resources at TFW2005 Hits 4000 Entries

Transformers Resources at TFW2005 Hits 4000 Entries 20thPrime02
Our Transformers Resources section has today hit 4000 entries!

That's 4000 pages dedicated to Transformers toys, from Generation 1 Optimus Prime back in 1984, through to the brand new, recently announced Masterpiece Grimlock (USA Version).

And what better way to celebrate our milestone 4000th entry than with a milestone Transformer himself? We are therefore proud to announce that resource entry 4000 is the (bizarrely overlooked until now?) 20th Anniversary Edition Optimus Prime!

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big "thank you" to all of our Content Staff, who have worked extremely hard to bring us up to 4000 entries, and are already hard at work on the next big update. I would like to especially thank

ams, Deefuzz, flywheels, Hiro Prime, Joe Moore, kenucme, SmokescreenGT, SydneyY, Super_Megatron, Tim Formas, trebleshot, TreKain, and XJunky

for their work all throughout the process of creating and filling in the pages of our Resources section. Without their help we would not have the comprehensive resource that you can currently enjoy.

I would also like to thank the rest of our content contributors and staff past and present, and everyone who has contributed their own resources, information time and energy to making this the best resource for Transformers toys that it can be.

So be sure to check out everyone's hard work, and be sure to check back often as we work toward the next major update for our Resources section!

Here's to the next 1000 entries and the 5000 milestone!

I know you don't want to "toot your own horn", but Sol Fury, you've also contributed a lot as well. I'd like to congratulate you, and everyone else who has built up this database from scratch. You all have done a good job. Congratulations!

I was there just at the onset. Sol Fury is the one whose work has really made it what it has become. Bravo!
StarFire_MK2:
Congrats on everything, guys!

Although I have to ask, is the robot mode depicted in the entry the 20th Anniversary or the Takara Prime? The stacks indicate it's the former, since Hasbro assumes American children are stupid and will put out their eyes on the long smoke-stacks.

What I've been doing mostly is to freak out how I will never finish filling the entries, and Sol Fury is like, it's ok, it's ok, you are doing well

Those are the original, official pictures that Hasbro circulated back when he was first released. It's not the first time their official images managed to be different from the final version!

Ironically, the in-box shots are the short stack version, so the other official images must have been done on a very early colour version.
Starscreamer217:
Sorry for the lateness, but congrats, Sol Fury!

This site is gonna when the head honchos here put up the screenshots for ROTF! Its gonna
ORIO:
Resources are an essential part to this website! Congrats!
G1Jetfire:
Haven't posted much but read this site daily. Your sponsors have been sources for obtaining my collection(s). Congratulations for the milestone! Here's to the next 4000 listings! TFW2005 rules!
Kickback:
Way to go crew - you guys deserve one HELL of a pat on the back. BotCon Awards aren't enough, you've literally built a backbone to this site that keeps it going even when the news is slow and/or dry (as it has been post-movie-release).
GMfan101:
4000 and counting?

Gotta catch'em all is getting expensive...

Congrats crew, you deserve it
Autobot-X1:
Congrats guys, you deserve it!! Thanks for all your hard work, you guys did an awesome job!!
NIBMRatchet:
Congratz !!!
And thanks for all the contributions.

Long Live TFW2005 !!!
Chlorophillip:
TFW2005 is one of the better TF fan sites.

Forums are neat and uncluttered and the site layout as a whole is easy on the eyes.

Great work, all who spend much time and resources in maintaining this site!
Superquad7:
You guys have done a LOT of great work. Thank you so very much for all of your contributions! I've been using (and appreciating) the resources here more and more

Ah, I was wondering about that. Thanks for clarifying.
Optimist_Prime:

Chaos Muffin:
Sol Fury thanked everyone but himself. He did tons of work on it, and when he took breaks he worked on the Feedback Index.
