WTF @ TFW - Episode 312 - TFcon Live
The panel after TFcon 2014's final panel was this live recording of WTF@TFW. Expectations of violence and reports of incidence are only a few of the things that polluted the panel room while the venue thought the show was already over.

WTF @ TFW - Supplemental 43 - TFcon Front and Back
What happened before and after the WTF Live panel? Who eats pizza from Boston? What are the "real" "digital" "sports"? It's time to find out.

WTF @ TFcon 2014 - Interviews of the North
Something something Canada something something Hockey something something Interview Hat Trick! Here's an audio copy of the three interviews that Vangelus ran at TFcon 2014, featuring Marvin Mariano, Alex Milne, and Aaron Archer.

REMINDER: TFW2005 Community Game Day II: Rise of the Dark Spark is Now Live!

Posted on 07-05-2014 at 02:00 PM by Secretcode under Site Updates
TRANSRotDS_Screen4 The TFW2005's second Community Game Night! Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is now live All day on Saturday July 5th!

There are no special events, or prizes planned for this event, as it is just an excuse to have fun and get to know more people over on TFW2005. At the time of writing we currently have 95 TFW2005 Boards Members registered for the upcoming event, with possibly more in the TFW2005 Steam Group.

Unfortunately, since the creation of this Game Night we have learned that the Wii U version of the game did not have an online multiplayer mode of any sort and as such we have removed the Wii U section of the roster from the list.

While you do not have to register in a thread or whatever for the community game night, it'd be very much appreciated if interested players submitted their Xbox Live or Playstation Network ID/Gamertags in the thread for ease of access, as well as what specific console they'd be playing on. Steam players, you can do the same, or simply join the pre-existing unofficial TFW2005 Steam group for a simpler time. Further details, including organization and the current gamertag/ID list so far are in the first post of the thread. Click here to take the jump.

The list of gamertags is no longer going to be updated. Start looking for matches in this story's attached thread!

WTF @ TFW Botcon 2014 Podcasts Now Online!

Posted on 06-30-2014 at 11:14 PM by ORIO under Site Updates
Botcon-wtF 01 - Friday - June 20 2014
After a long 1.5 days of Botcon 2014, Vangelus finally records a podcast. On the sidewalk.

02 - A Hasbro Chat with Mark Weber - June 21 2014
A few hours after the Saturday Hasbro Panel at Botcon, Vangelus sat down with Mark Weber (Transformers Manager of Global Brand Development) to talk some Transformers, and reveal further insight into the legend of Clint Chapman's hat.

03 - Saturday - June 21 2014
A classically loud and occasionally explicit series of Botcon bar recordings ends with a lot of tired people standing in a circle and talking about the nature of unofficial independent transforming toy robots for about 45 minutes or so.

04 - Let's Artist Alley
This interview compilation features 5 Artist Alley tables, from Rachel Cook, to Josh Burcham, swinging by Sarah Stone & Mairghread Scott's Fort Windblade, dropping in on Marcelo Matere, and finishing the tour by chatting Puggleformers with Cally Kari Shokka.

05 - Vinyl Action with The Loyal Subjects
On the final day of Botcon 2014, Vangelus spoke with Jonathan Cathey of The Loyal Subjects about action vinyl, line evolution, and Phil Reed.

06 - D-Pads Unstuck with Jagex and DeNA
The final interview compilation for Botcon 2014 features a pair of Transformers game conversations, one in the MOTA space, one in the mobile space.

07 - Sunday and Beyond
In the late Sunday hours of June 22 2014, Vangelus grabs at whoever's standing near him to talk a little Botcon post-show. Then, he grabs at family. And finally, he grabs at the internet.

Video versions of all the interviews are also available by clicking here!
For those who want to see an interviewee's face while they're speaking!

game-night Back in 2012 after the release of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, we here on TFW2005 held a community game night for the various Multiplayer modes, and it was met with some pretty decent results.

With another Transformers game reaching store shelves later on this month, it's time to try it yet again! All day on Saturday July 5th, TFW2005 will be holding it's second community game day, for Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark's Escalation mode! There are no special events, or prizes planned for this event, as it is just an excuse to have fun and get to know more people over on TFW2005.

While you do not have to register in a thread or whatever for the community game night, it'd be very much appreciated if interested players submitted their Xbox Live or Playstation Network ID/Gamertags in the thread for ease of access, as well as what specific console they'd be playing on.
