How much news do we usually get on preview night? Don't they usually not put new figures into the display case until after the toy panel? I feel so dumb asking this because I've watched comicon updates live for 3 years but still cant remember

I don't know. Wave 4 of the deluxes are all just repaints. It seems obvious that they would show them here, but it's been obvious several times already. It's just getting weird. I'm no longer holding my breath.

It's nice to get some confirmation that we will be seeing some new toys.

are we actually going to see new stuff tonight (wednesday) or will all of the new stuff be shown on thursday? i'm talking about figures in the display cases*.

Anyone know what day and time will the hasbro start selling thier transformers exclusives?

Monday after the convention. The time kind of varies, but there are usually a group of us up all night each year BSing in a thread. I am too lazy to check, but I think Blaster went live at about 8:30am pst, Soundwave 4am, and Classics Nemesis 9am. Atleast that seems about right.

Prime-Prime seems like the exclusive of the two that will sell out fast (still not sure if I am getting that). I would guess that the Starscream Joe will sell out lightning fast, and the BIG movie Prime will take a little while based on the price.

I just want my MP Roddy and my Capt Glen and thats ALL I want from this yrs Comic con.

This year is going to be a bloodbath for SDCC exclusives. They were talking about them on slickdeals during the HTS groupon offer, and there are of TON of people sitting and waiting with groupon Hasbro money to buy these and flip them on ebay.

If you want something, get it as early as possible.

Hopefully there will be exciting new toys announcement. I can live with nice repaints though.

If I had to guess, I'd think most of the new stuff will be waiting for the panels, but I've got my fingers crossed that stuff like the HA Soundwave might be out for preview night.

Agreed, but we KNOW the stuff in the Walmart listings is coming. I mean, if they aren't showing those, it's hard to believe they're showing ANYTHING new.

Last year's SDCC was disappointing, maybe this year's will be too, but even if Soundwave and friends have been idiotically delayed to 2012, we could STILL see them tomorrow.

I'm expecting that. A lot of people are saying we'll see Voyager Prime Prime, Bulkhead, deluxe Movie Mirage, Wheeljack, etc, but I just can't believe it after last year, where all we got was "It's so... GREEEEEEEN" Devastator, Highlighter Decals Barricade, and a bunch of other crappy repaints.

I LOVE Unicron's Minicon's name. Also, NEED MOAR AIR RAID PICS. It's probably the only new stuff we'll see. Are any Prime figures on display?

The Cyberverse set is interesting, but it might just be an impulse buy. Not exactly sure if I want it yet.

Does anyone remember how long after SDCC Grimlock hit store shleves? I am hoping to grab a Rodimus while in NYC on the week of the 21st in August since Quebec never gets TRU exclusives.

RE: Air Raid...sigh, one of those poor guys who isn't much of an homage, isn't in scale with anything besides maybe last movie's Stratosphere, and has ugly package art. Apologies to whoever designed it, but I can small pegwarmer a mile away. I do think it's neat to see an AWACs plane TF, and that I guess it uses the radar dish as a shield.

RE: Unicron: looks amazing. His moon's name is...ironic. (Woulda gone with "Lithone" or "Moonbase" myself!) I just hope Hasbro sells Amazon a BUNDLE of 'em. Considering how many Seacons they got BBTS to take, maybe it's no problem.

RE: that Legends set...well poor Crowbar's a little outnumbered right? I have all those molds except Sideswipe, who I'm not a fan of. Like the green A-10 but hardly enough. (Better if he's a 'con, but still not worth a buy.)

From what we have heard, yes. I actually prefer this since I am an Amazon Prime member. Mine will be next day shipped for 3.99!

I hope amazon gets more exclusives in the future. Really save me time trying to track at Brick stores.

I feel like staying home from work tomorrow to keep up.
So far DOTM has been sub-par. Not so much in toy quality but in the sheer amout of repaints we are getting right out of the gate. Not even an effort to spread it through the line. Look at the first wave of HA toys (bigger ones) 2 different toys BOTH repaints of ROTF figures.

I really think the timing and the fact that they did not want to show off too many characters pre-movie is to blame.

I already have the 2010 Unicron but I think it's great it's being released by Amazon. Gives more people a chance to get it
