TFW2005 sister site on all things G.I. Joe, Hisstank brings us awesome news for Joe and TF collectors alike. The G.I. Joe San Diego Comic Con exclusive for this year will be a Skystriker repainted as Generation 1 Starscream. Included will be a Cobra Commander wearing a flight suit and holding a gun mode Generation 1 Megatron!

Yeah, I've had very poor luck in getting the G.I. Joe exclusives when they're thrown up on HTS. They always seem to sell within minutes so hopefully with a crossover like this, they will produce a bit more than usual. (That's probably too much to ask, though, as vehicles are typically shelf-warmers even if this would be a unique situation.)

Meh a pretty cool idea i just hope this gets us closer to getting some G1 human characters (especially old snake) however i really enjoy the novelty behind this concept

So sdcc Sgt.Slaughter was damn near impossible to get(I was one of the many to wait all morning and still couldn't get one) and if this one's gonna be harder then it's not looking good for 99.9% of us. What's harder than impossible?

Very happy that we're finally getting a skystriker reissue though. My joe collecting died when the 25th figs stopped coming out.

Ah, sorry Pete! Found the apparently un-creatively cropped picture in a thread on Reddit.com. The white background gave me pause on its exclusivity, hence the declaration after the photograph. (It's tough to contain things once they're loosed upon the Internet.)

Looks amazing. I'm wondering how much it is, since for some odd reason it peaks my interest more than the Transformers SDCC exclusives do. I hope they stick with one look for cobra commander in this set. It's a bit hard to tell from the pics, but I'm hoping it doesn't end up in that weird cartoon-realistic hybrid style the Renegades toys got going on (was really looking forward to those
