Darn, before I read that it was a repackaged Ultimate Prime, I was hoping the image was of that Voyager mold with trailer.
D-Unit
They look cool, but not different enough from the upcoming releases to pick up
miscreant
Deluxe Prime Prime or Ultimate Prime.

It's hard to pick which one i want less.
Sam Witwicky
Meh I might get the Metallic Prime. Kind of dig the wearable Matrix though.
Elvio
Ugh, I hate buying stuff just for the packaging... but these are really tempting.
oxidative
Is it just the box that makes the Ultimate Prime different than the retail release?
Grimlock_13
Ultimate Prime is more and more tempting every time I see it...the "jetpack" mode is garbage, but I really would like to have a Prime w/ trailer...

TF Primes package is cool, waiting to see more of Rodimus.
blackout501st
Any idea how much either of these will cost?
CodeXCDM
IMO that is the only one of the recently unveiled TFP toys that looks... blah. He's got quite a bit of arm and back kibble from what it looks like too. Definitely one of those pieces you'd resell honestly.

The matrix thing is kinda neat tho...
Ra88
They really should have given Ultimate Prime a premium paintjob, instead of just giving him a fancy box.
artiepants
Awesome packaging, but crap-tastic molds.
Tracer
metallic paint finish is NOT on Ultimate Prime correct?
Stryker055
Think I might go for the Matrix Prime, since I don't plan on getting the entertainment pack anyway.
Sidbeckett
Lovely packaging on the Joe crossover.
Angelwave
I wanted that Prime Prime for a while. But not anymore really doesn't do that much for me now. And as far as the movie Prime thing....was never gonna happen to begin with. So money saved for me this year in regards to SDCC.
metrotitan
This Ultimate Prime's displayability w/box is too great to pass up. I'll grab one. Any idea how much they're going to be?
darkwingduck13
Ugh. Apparently the Prime toys aren't going to be any more appealing than the animation models. For the TF: Prime Optimus toy it looks like they picked a random movie Prime and started removing details and shrinking the toy until it was deluxe-sized. Maybe eventually they'll do an animated series that will have a style I can stand some day in the far flung future.

Ultimate Prime and a Starscream Sky Striker please. Those boxes are simply delicious.
Bgrngod
So the Ultimate Prime is probably going to be around $100 right? That's an awful lot for a SDCC exclusive. I don't remember them ever being that expensive before. Curious to see how many are available after the show.

Definitely want TFP Matrix Prime. I won't be waiting until December to get my mitts on a TFP figure. I hope the awesome packaging/box can be maintained while opening and used as display etc.

Big fat pass on that G.I. Joe toy. Slapping a little red and blue on a white jet does not make it Starscream IMO. I am sure the Joe collectors are thrilled with it, but it does nothing for me other than make me feel relieved that is one less SDCC exclusive I'll have to hunt down.
artiepants
i think the Joe Skystriker is totally stealing the TFs thunder...
NCStarscream
Screamer is so wonderful...I hope I can acquire one.
Creaky
I'll take anything Prime-series - even if it's a slightly meh deluxe figure. It'll tide me over till the new stuff drops in and I get a gorgeous voyager version.

Ultimate Prime? I don't think so.
Liege Prime
Yeah, I'm not crazy about that Transformers Prime Prime, but I think if I can I will get it just 'cause it's Prime and because it will be the first Prime figure released. Ultimate Prime is still unappeling.
Laser_Optimus
Honestly, it's sad when the GI Joe exclusive is a cooler TRANSFORMERS exclusive than the actual Transformers exclusives. Ultimate Prime is bleh to begin with and repackaging him doesn't make it cooler. Should have given him a better paint job or something. TFP Prime is cool, but the Voyager mold that the guys at the panel at Botcon got to see sounds like it's going to be loads better. Also, even if I wanted to get the deluxe version, this one isn't different enough from the one coming up in the two pack for me to really bother paying a premium for it.

What's up Hasbro? Your SDCC exclusives are usually must haves...
Knaranek
I would like to know the prices as well. Have we heard anything on that yet.
Optimus Prime
I'm definitely buying the Ultimate OP just to display in its awesome box. Probably going to be insanely expensive, though.
G1Wheeljack
I'll be grabbing that Matrix box Prime assuming the prices is no more than $20, don't think I'd want to pay more than that for what seems an ok mold and a cool box.
decepticon222er
Is that Optimus from TFPrime? Why only Opitimuseses this year? Diggin the packaging tho, especially that trailer one.

Absolutely. It's appreciably different from things that are or will be on shelves, and it's really creative.
Optimus Clyde
I'm sure somebody has mentioned it before, but isn't it delicious -- the irony that Chris Latta voiced both those characters? I love it. I'm going to think of this from now on as the Chris Latta two-pack.
theestampede
tfp Prime looks fun enough.
Jlogano20
oh great i want that prime optimus but dont want to pay ebay triple prices
jorod74
IIRC from over at Hisstank, the street/retail version of the 2011 Skystriker is a single-seater.
The pics of the SDCC Starscream repaint looks like a 2-seater.
another plus.
I want this as a display trophy.
StayingInTheBox
I might just try to swing all of these over my way ...
The_Black_Sheep
Oh that Cobra Screamer is so nice! & how purty is that packaging?
just1nj
Hm.. I'm a little bummed at the TFs at SDCC this year. I'll probably get the Starscream. That Hasbro line gets quite long
Grimkid
Must have that starscream
primetime77
is this toy a harbinger of things to come from the MP lineup? isn't the current rumor an F-14 based starscream as the MP-11?

ummmm.... i've never heard that rumor... there was the Movie Masterpiece F-22 Starscream...
SnakeEyesFan97
Oh dear God, being a Starscream worshiper and a G.I. Joe lover I'm torn between getting the rest of the Pursuit of Cobra line and all the as=wesome Transformers releases like Kre-O, Rodimus, and Unicron. DAMN YOU HASBRO!!!!!!!!!!!
rofflesaurus
I'm sort of a newbie to the SDCC exclusives, but do they go up for sale on the Hasbro site? And just sort of unrelated, what about the Botcon exclusives? So many damn exclusives.

Basically, where and when can I get all these exclusives? I've never gotten my hands on one .

The SDCC exclusives usually do end up on the the Hasbro toy store site. At least the past few years they have, even if only for a limited time before selling out.

As for the BotCon exlcusives, any that are left over after the convention show up on the club store, which is different than the Hasbro store. Most of the time they sell out at the show though.

Oh, okay. When will they be available this year? Too bad the SDCC exclusives kind of suck this year.
giga-galvatron
I might try and snag that Prime Optimus if its not sold out

Often within a week after the convention is over they will go up on HTS.
