So many awesome TF goodies coming this year! I hope they have a DOTM Deluxe Dino in the cards, I really want a figure of him!
Cyberglyph
That is exactly what I was going to do.
Ravenxl7
All it means is that he's a new mold. Which is in contrast to Twin Twist, who is a repaint.
Pun-3X
DOTM stuff looks very disappointing. I love both Soundwaves and Wheeljack, but that's it. They really have been missing opportunities on figures, but I can understand how a lot of that is due to Transformers: Prime.
And getting to that, definitely excited about quite a few of those figures. But there just weren't all too many surprises that had me cheering like I was back at Botcon '09. And that includes reveals both at BC'11 and SDCC this year.
Ah well, it just means I won't be hurting so much from the third-party purchases I'll be making.

let's see…
HA Soundwave – meh
DOTM Wheeljack – they nailed the cgi model perfectly. However, I don't like the cgi model.
Prime Wheeljack – Pretty cool
Prime Skyquake – EPIC
Prime Soundwave – better than I expected
Prime voyager Starscream – meh
Cannon Ironhide – interesting
that's all I can think of right now.
EDIT – 'new tooling' on leadfoot? wonder what that means
Rijie78
That's what I wanted to hear about – TF Prime voyager Starscream! Looks great already, at the WIP stage. Deluxe Soundwave is also completely awesome, and Deluxe Wheeljack looks fantastic as well.
So that's 3 more TF Prime toys to add to the wants list, along with that superb Voyager Prime.. Just needs an equally excellent Voyager Megatron and I'll be very chuffed to add that selection to the toy shelf! Might pick up a Deluxe Arcee too, that's a smart looking toy. I keep saying it in TFP toy threads, but the toy designers are really overachieving with the design-to-toy thing for TF Prime. Excellent work all round.
Entirely disinterested by the DOTM toys shown, by contrast, and they don't reach the heights some of the ROTF toys designs did. That said, HA Leadfoot does look very good, stands out a mile from the rest IMO – looking forward to some photos of that at least.

Bring on the Prime toys! Must have them all!

Thanks. When can I expect to get a movie accurate Leadfoot that's not Human Alliance, if only a Target Exclusive?
mx-01 archon
The Deluxe will be a Target exclusive in a two-pack with a Top Spin repaint as "Twin Twist".
And probably be a mass release further down the road, in a non-accurate colourscheme.
But the Movie accurate versions of Leadfoot will be Target Exclusives, 'cause no-one's gonna stock a toy advertising their competitor.
Note that Cyberverse Leadfoot lacks the bullseye logo on his stomach, so he's good to go.
Grimlockfirst
Is the Target car Transformer only going to be available in Human Alliance? I try to get all those in the movies, but haven't bothered with HA, and I don't really want to start now . . .

Ooooo….
That TFP Wheeljack will be standing in as Wheeljack on my classics shelf to differentiate him from the Tracks mold.
The styling and aesthetic, does not look all that cartoony at the moment. I'll wait on more pictures, and possibly a review to make my final decision. However things are looking promising. Too bad we didn't get any news on more upcoming classics figures. SDCC isn't over yet though…so here's to hoping they still have some new stuff to show us.

Meh, I like the HA proportions better, for the most part. Accuracy aside, that burly upper body just makes him more imposing looking, and hearkens to the rest of the Decepticons' more inhuman designs a bit.
Deluxe Soundwave looks like a scrawny Autobot.
That said, I'll be getting both .
CVprowl
its the tiny tiny stick legs. whats hard to understand? im hoping its just a bad picture or something cause those are the tiniest legs ive seen on a bot thats supposed to be kinda normal humanoid shaped.
i dont even know if that will be able to stand up for long.
see pics…

I NEED EVERY SINGLE SOUNDWAVE FIGURE LISTED THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after pretty much getting all of the main line DOTM toys, I've slowed down with Transformers but this has me excited again. Will pick up the TFP Prime, but I'm so excited for Soundwave!!!

I think we're hoping it's yet another case of really bad Human Alliance product Photography/transformation (for some reason this line has had more issues with this than most). But in the image we've seen his arms are huge (which is fine), but his legs look tiny and frail.
It makes for a very oddly proportioned toy. The deluxe is larger below the waist. Completely the opposite.
One of the things we tend to like about HA toys is that they often are better detailed than the deluxes. This is a pretty big deal to get so terribly wrong.
I'll be getting him either way, but I was a bit disappointed to see this. I'm really hoping it's not as a big a problem as it looks to be.

the prime toys are coming this december so we wont haev to wait lnog, they are jsut gonig to release Prime and the remainnig dotm toys together like this did with Universe and Animated, HTFD, RTS and Generations
theestampede
lot of excellent reveals this year imo, saw everything I wanted to see. Tf Prime toys look excellent in general and all the movie soundwaves look great as well.
Especially excited about those TF Prime cyberverse figs, love how they all have 2 holding things hands as well as tons of weapons.
