Ravenxl7:
Looks pretty cool, especially for a WIP test sequence. The final product should be really nice.

Edit: I really like the look of the characters. My current favorite one is Ratchet, even though we don't know what his alt-mode looks like (it's a safe bet it's an ambulance of some kind). Cliffjumer looks really nice too. Definitely chunkier than I had imagined. The horns in alt-mode are a nice touch. Arcee doesn't look bad either. The bike and spikiness to her are the only things movie-inspired. The blue makes me think of Chromia, but this definitely works for Arcee. Optimus is still a really good design (probably my second favorite), as is Bumblebee. The Decepticon troopers are an interesting surprise. It's nice to know that Megs, Screamer, and Soundwave won't be the only Decepticons. Megatron looks really nice, and he came out better than I was expecting (especially the movie-inspired alt-mode). The humans aren't too bad, but something about the little kid bothers me. Also, for some reason the name Jack Darby sounds familiar. Should be interesting to see what Bulkhead, Starscream, and Soundwave look like.

Can't wait to see what the inevitable toys look like (yeah, like they're actually going to put this much effort into a new show and not make a toy line for it).
Toxicon:
Hot diggity damn THAT LOOKS AWESOME
Prowl:
Don't forget you can click on the hi-rez version.
Tirade:
Color me unimpressed.
Eric:
...Why would Megatron need drones for his Decepticons?
darksage78:
Wow that's already pretty cool and its still WIP. Can't wait for its debut this fall.
Omega Charge:
AWESOME. This show will rock!!!
Tekkaman Blade:
Drones=red shirts
Mutantx:
too bad this is wasted on movie designs...should've been more G1 or WFC
SoundMaster:
More please.

Drones, bro. Storm troopers. If you have your strong lieutenants and you want to make sure that they live long, then you fill your army with cannon fodder, to trickle down the enemy enough so that when the lieutenants strike, they enemy has already been weakened by the fodder.

Plus, it makes for killable bots on the show
Mechafire:
I thought that was some pretty impressive animation. Looking good.
darksage78:
Seems like a win win situation with the movie designs for me. I'm not particularly fond of them so I'll save money since I probably won't go for the toys. But the TV show with Orci and Kurtzman at the helm and a particular focus and investment into the mythology makes me all sorts of happy.

Cheap, loyal, expendable troops. Just what every evil overlord wishes for.
Bumblethumper:
So a few Decepticons are just walking around, minding their own business, and then Bumblebee assaults them?
Autovolt 127:
This show is going rock.

Id this is a WiP, then i can't wait to see the final result.

Eh, makes sense, I guess. Then again, Armada Megatron had Decepticlones in the Armada video game, so...yeah. Good excuse for killable robots.
Tiller:
So basically:

War for Cybertron continuity and a few design elements (Arcee) + Movieverse/Animated hybrid design + State of the art CGI + All star cast for voice and story = Transformers Prime.

Hype meter filling to capacity.

Hehehe, yup. He learned from Movie Prime to be a dick. Those two were probably talking about their families back home.

They'd better give the drones some personality. If not, I'll have to dub my own voice in when Prime inevitably hits torrent sites.
HIM666fan:
im surpised thast all we get!!

the characeter models look pretty awsome.
gotta see more before i decide if ill like it or not!
Sideswipe80:
Looks cool!

That, and TROOP BUILDERS to sell toys if there are toys planned of the canon-fodders.

Personally, I hate generic drones. It shouldn't be too hard to do a few different head models. Vary the colour schemes and proportions.

I hate when they fill out the ranks with blatantly expendable cannon fodder.
HIM666fan:
i can clearly see a WFC esque vibe to the characters as well as movieverse

the renderings look awsome that are posted!
and wish the clip was longer to short to judge if it will be good or not
Joe Moore:
Honestly wish they hadn't shown it. It's clearly unfinished and unpolished animation that was all of 10 seconds long and wholly unexciting at that. I can clearly see the potential it holds. But not everyone will be as optimistic about it as I am and they will pass judgment on the entire series based on a clear work in progress.
Liliwen:
Looks pretty darn good, I'm excited. Those robots are veeeery shiny. And is it just me or did Bumblebee take too long to get to the ground?

Maybe he could learn to take on all the decepticons like prime did in the movie.

But i like it. Not into the drone thought, That takes room away from more actual TF's making it into the show... But i guess i will see in 2 months...
TornadoQuakeX:
Man, those were some SHINY bots! This looks fantastic.
Sideswipe80:
Is it too early to ask for toys and a videogame??
knyghtmare2021:
I gotta say I dig this. The movement seems very kinetic. Differently looking forward to this. Oh, and for once I'm excited about Cliffjumper. LOL
Toxicon:
I still find it odd that Starscream wasn't shown. I thought he was a shoe-in.

I really wanted to see him and Soundwave.
darksage78:
I'm not seeing the WFC honestly. The aesthetic in WTF was much more raw and bulky with real battle worn look. Very edgy. Prime seems to be a very smoothed, stylized version of the movie designs which makes me think of Animated. But whatever it is, as long as the story is there, that's whats important.
Radioactive Ravage:
Well, damn. Now I want a Bumblebee.

Drones or not, that means potential for troop-building toys. By the by, it is just an animation sample and may not reflect the nature of the show.
OptimusTron97:
Ah, you beat me to it by like one minute!

One word: BEAUTIFUL!

Count me in. If these guys don't talk, I'm sure some interesting filler lines could be added. lol
Optimal Primus:
Time for an Animated Lugnut impression.

*erhm*

GLOURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Facemeat:
Wow, that looked awesome. Between this and the character art, I just went from "it's growing on me" to "holy sh*t I'm loving this and I need it now!". For me, this panel more than made up for the panel earlier today. I'm so excited for this show!
Vector Squidma:
Consider my fears about low quality CGI to be COMPLETELY demolished. I might go as far to say that the characters look even better than Clone Wars. (The environments, not so much, but hey, its an animation test.)
pantherfan1:
Not bad, not bad at all.
Dormamu:
I need Cliffy noooowwwwwww!!!!!!!!

And Arcee. And maybe Prime.

But not Bumblebee. I have standards.
Bumblethumper:
Y'know, halfway through that transformation sequence, it kinda looked like he was converting into a VW Beetle.

...anyone else think?
Sideswipe80:
I know it's early, but it's gonna be hard for those 3 humans to top Sari. I don't like their designs at all.
grimlock1972:
Looks good and damn BB throws a mean punch.
Ceasar121:
Trailer was decent. Shows lots of promise, though I am totally unimpressed by Bumblebee's Transformation sequence.

Then again the panel disappointed me too... all we see is Arcee, Cliffjumper, Bee and Prime, Ratchet, Megatron and some Decepticon troopers? Bleh.

Poor showing all around today Hasbro. Feels like they have once again missed a chance to totally hype their show (just like they did with Animated). Chances are the Prime toys won't release till next fall.

I think they gave us just enough to show that they weren't doing TF "Energon" but warned us that it was still early. My only concern is, "Is it really coming this year?" Seems like a show like this would take longer to produce, and this close to the middle of the year, I would think that more footage would be available to show. Either way, this looks great.
Fort Max:
Looked cool but so what, the trailers for RotF looked cool, I can't possibly say whether or not this will be any cop from a ten second clip of Bumblebee being a badass! *yawn* Was really hoping to see some example of the writing/dialog, that's what won me over with animated, that clip they showed at that SDCC of Prime and Ratchet talking, that demonstrated the whole essence of the show in a short sequence, this was just a money shot.
Nightrain:
I could feel a little WFC and I'm not sure why. Anyway, I liked the transformation and that's all I really care about. If there's no damn stock footage crap or silly whirlwind transformations, I'm on board.

That was exactly my first thought. They shouldn't have shown that.
