Larry-King-Peter-Cullen-1
The Larry King interview of Peter Cullen was tonight at SDCC. The event was a fun time for everyone in attendance, getting a look inside the mind of one of this generation's greatest voice actors.

There will be video, or is, of this event online, so I'll save the recap and let you guys watch yourself later.

BUT - our buddy DESTRO got this great shot of the greats. Enjoy!

Just got out of this awesome panel an hour ago. Peter Cullen is truly a great person. Glad to be able to attend. Even at my thirty something age, I felt like a kid sitting in that room.

I can't wait to see this in full. This must have been an absolutely delightful panel and a highlight of Hasbro's presence at SDCC.

Agreed!
I love having Cullen behind the TF franchise. Such a great man.
So much class and respect... I smile every time I see him talking about the character and what it means to him; look forward to seeing more!

Please....I'm sure Peter slip up at least once during the interview and called Larry Alpha Trion....

So what kind of questions did Larry King ask (for those that were there), did he seem prepared?

I lined up an hour ahead of time to get into this panel, iwas near the front and there were probably 200+ people in line but only about 20 of us got in because hardly anyone who was in the room for the previous panel left. I didn't make it in, oh well, would have loved to see Larry King and Peter Cullen. Such is life at SDCC. Maybe they will do something like this in the future.

OT, but icespark, why does your sig pic indicate that Prime series has died? Has the continuation of Season 2 been canned? If so, I missed that news bit

Nope, it's just about the toylines..not the series.. probably the FE series, but now that it's coming out for the USA, he should update his siggie.

On topic...would have loved to be in the room to hear the interview.

I thought Larry King retired myself, huh...

I can't wait for this full video to show up on Youtube or somewhere later. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.

Does anyone know if they announced with the second half of season two would begin?

Some people said the Fall was stated at the Con.

Quite right. As long as they have interesting and fun expansions, I hope they pump out more DLC for the game. I don't simply want, characters and maps, but a few side stories *cough*Female Autobots and Decepticons centered*cough* side missions that either take place just after the Autobots and the bulk of Megatron's forces leave Cybetron or somewhere else on Cybertron during the story. Whatever the case, make it happen and let it be a lead in to the next story, HMS.

EDIT:

Found these up at Youtube:

Mr. Cullen is so classy. My favorite voice actor of all time. With Mr. Welker second.

I loved watching that. He is so classy, so amazing.
One part that stood out to me was when he handled the question about the "Kill them all" line in DOTM and said how he felt it was out of character.

So much class and respect for the character. Peter IS Optimus Prime and he's a huge credit to the franchise.

Totally. Never thought that such a question would make him feel so uncomfortable, but I can certainly see his point of view with folks seeing him/Optimus as a father figure.

This was a fun Interview and I hope it makes it way to season to of TF Prime as a bonus feature, this should be something for all to own and see again in HD
