UK RID DVD Preorder and UK Energon Cartoon News

TheTransformers.net is reporting that Play.com has the first RiD DVD set up for preorder Here.

They are also reporting that Hasbro UK has told them that the Energon Cartoon will begin airing Autumn/Winter this year in the UK.

TheTransformers.net is reporting that the Robots In Disguise DVD that is scheduled to be released in July, in the U.K., has been expanded. Originally slated to be a single-disc with the first five episodes; It is now two-discs and will contain the first eight episodes of the RiD series.

Well in the U.K. anyway. TheTransformers.net is reporting that the U.K. company Maximum entertainment has aquired the rights to produce the DVD's. The first disc is due out onJuly 26th and will contain the first 5 episodes. It is unlikely these particular sets will be released in the U.S.

Voice of RiD Rapid Run , Keith Diamond, Shot

Keith Diamond, best known to Transformers fans for his voice acting in the cartoon series "Robots in Disguise," who voiced the character "Rapid Run" of the Team Bullet Train, was shot by his father three times, once in the chin and twice in his torso.

Diamond was apparently unconscious and in an intensive care unit where his condition is listed as "stable."

As Black Friday, aka Day after Thanksgiving, draws closer, there is more and more talk about the upcoming Wal*Mart exclusive that will be available at their stores for $15 during a short five hour span. Today, Wal*Mart has included their advertisement for Friday's bargains. Included in the ad is the listing for that much talked-about Robots in Disguise store exclusive. Check out a scan of the Landfill section of the ad here. For those willing to battle the crowds Friday morning at Wal*Mart, this special price on Landfill (which will receive its official release at the beginning of the sale) is only valid from 6 AM to 11 AM local time on that day.

After a quick, short-termed sale due to low-stock but high demand it seems they have now been restocked at Wal-Mart stores once again.
