The ever reliable Chris McFeely of our 2005 Boards has posted an email he recieved. The email is from Maximum Entertainments Colin Lomax.
"Chris, As a result of disappointing sales we have decided against continuing with the complete set" approach and have instead chosen to release the episodes on single DVDs at a lower price point. Consequently we wont be including any extras. We may revisit the box set approach when the new Spielberg movie is released but not for now."
Sad news for those of us that were really looking forward to this complete set. You can still find the region 2 Volumes 1 and 2, which collect the entire series, at Play.com Here and Here.

While TFW2005.com has grown into an all-inclusive site focusing on Transformers in general, and "news" specifically, it's hard to focus on all the great toys and lines that have been around for the last 20 years. So what we decided to do is create smaller, more personal sites focusing specifically on a train of thought. The first one of these new sites is called RID FOREVER, focusing on - you guessed it, Robots In Disguise! At RID FOREVER you will be able to look at tons of images and info related to the line, and it's foreign counterparts, Car Robots and Korean Car-Bots. It will not be updated as frequently, rather acting more like an archive than a news spot. But, for those looking for info on the line, this should cover it. Why did we start with RID? Well, this site was put together almost entirely by me personally, and this is my favorite line. Plus, it is the only Transformers line I collect today (G1, BW, new stuff, forget it). So, I figured it would be best to start with what I know and like. But this doesn't mean the others won't follow, we have plans for many more like this. And hopefully you can dig them all. So what are you waiting for, head on over to Ridforever.info today and check it out!

Keith Diamond, best known to Transformers fans for his voice acting in the cartoon series "Robots in Disguise," who voiced the character "Rapid Run" of the Team Bullet Train, was shot by his father three times, once in the chin and twice in his torso. Diamond was apparently unconscious and in an intensive care unit where his condition is listed as "stable." Thanks to Seibertron for the news and Alpha Prime of our 2005 Boards for the heads up. You can read the article thanks to Fox News by simply following this link here. Our thoughts and prayers are with Keith.
