Posted on 04-10-2009 at 07:21 PM by Sol Fury
Robots In Disguise
ap_20090411033141211jpg A pair of new images of PerfectEffect's "The Another War" sword have been posted on HK-TF.com. This custom piece is based on The Matrix Blade used in the final episode of Robots in Disguise, and represents a version of the sword scaled down to be in scale with most Voyager and Ultra class Transformers.

The sword will be available in two styles - TAW-01 & TAW-01S. One version is the cool black "Matrix Blade" / "Super God Sword" version, and the other is a blue and silver colored one which matches up to the FansProject City Commander very nicely! Check out all the images by clicking on the title of this story.

UK RID Boxset Cancelled

Posted on 10-05-2005 at 09:55 AM by Joe Moore
Robots In Disguise
NoSets The ever reliable Chris McFeely of our 2005 Boards has posted an email he recieved. The email is from Maximum Entertainments Colin Lomax.

"Chris,
As a result of disappointing sales we have decided against continuing with the complete set" approach and have instead chosen to release the episodes on single DVDs at a lower price point. Consequently we wont be including any extras. We may revisit the box set approach when the new Spielberg movie is released but not for now.
"

Sad news for those of us that were really looking forward to this complete set. You can still find the region 2 Volumes 1 and 2, which collect the entire series, at Play.com Here and Here.

RIDForever.INFO launches from TFW2005.com

Posted on 09-19-2005 at 04:52 AM by Tony_Bacala
Robots In Disguise
TFW2005.com is proud to present an all new fan-site dedicated to Transformers, RIDFOREVER.INFO!

While TFW2005.com has grown into an all-inclusive site focusing on Transformers in general, and "news" specifically, it's hard to focus on all the great toys and lines that have been around for the last 20 years. So what we decided to do is create smaller, more personal sites focusing specifically on a train of thought.

The first one of these new sites is called RID FOREVER, focusing on - you guessed it, Robots In Disguise! At RID FOREVER you will be able to look at tons of images and info related to the line, and it's foreign counterparts, Car Robots and Korean Car-Bots. It will not be updated as frequently, rather acting more like an archive than a news spot. But, for those looking for info on the line, this should cover it.

Why did we start with RID? Well, this site was put together almost entirely by me personally, and this is my favorite line. Plus, it is the only Transformers line I collect today (G1, BW, new stuff, forget it). So, I figured it would be best to start with what I know and like. But this doesn't mean the others won't follow, we have plans for many more like this. And hopefully you can dig them all.

So what are you waiting for, head on over to Ridforever.info today and check it out!
