I finally got my hands on Sideswipe and honestly I LOVE him.

LOL so I wasn't the only one that thought that. On topic, I picked on ss and jazz on a whim. Transformations are decent, plastic quality is terrible. SS has either stress marks or flash damage on his inner lower legs.
Roadblock1977
Hell yeah. I just spotted and snagged both at a Kent, Washington TARGET. Still taken aback by Jazz not havin' a visor.
Cman710
Nnnn I was just tired and cranky.
I did manage to find a Jazz though! And wow, what a great figure!
Alphard
Darn. I just told someone that they'd be out sometime next month a few days ago. (They'll find them, I hope. They were strangers, a father and son combo in Toys R Us)
(I was close, though. It's almost June…)
Nevermore
Dude, he literally just came out. Have a little patience, man.

I won't go near the TRU, Target or Walmart near where I live. Going into any of them is the equivalent of: finding yourself suddenly transported to an alien planet and hoping like hell that all of your childhood immunizations have the ability to withstand everything you find yourself being exposed to. All the while, you're moving at warp speed to get what you came in for, avoiding both eye and bodily contact, staving off the very real possibility of enduring mental and emotional trauma.
Nope, I will maintain my emotional health by avoiding that alien landscape by making all my Collecting purchases online
That is why both the Hasbro and Takara versions of Swipe and Jazz are being delivered to my home.
Cman710
Annoyed I can't fucking find Sideswipe anywhere and he's the only one I have desperately wanted since day one.

AND NOTHING. You belong to me now.
Autovolt 127
A neat little coincidence.

Buy them and send them to me.

Nothing. I found Jazz. It's just my luck that find toys that I don't want.
Repainted
Saw them at a Walmart in Beaumont, TX last night. Sideswipe, Drift, & Jazz. Fairly dinged up cards though.
Hollywood Hoist
So I shouldn't express my opinion, like everyone else? Or is it you don't like my opinion and wish I would keep it to myself?
Mudslide
What a surprise.
Hollywood Hoist
Couldn't disagree more. These are fun figures and that is the most important thing.
chuckcjc
And?
worldsgreatest
I'm pretty pleased with the entire RID line. They're toys. Fun ones at that.
GoLion
I have no interest in the figure? Check. Have I spotted them a few times? Yup.

Yeah, the cheapness bothers me more than the simplicity. Have you seen the GIANT R.I.D. Bumblebee yet? I think your head would explode….
The plastic on that thing is so thin, you can actually fold and snap off chunks (very much feels like that). But I must be wrong – this thing went through play tests, theoretically, so can it really snap off dangerous shard of thin plastic??? Maybe we're just waiting for that news story to hit all the papers?
The simplicity, I like: the G1 toys weren't complicated Rubrix cubes of 25 Ikea instruction steps to transform! We can keep things simple and fun, just like G1, without sacrificing quality.
It's the cheaping out on plastic, screws, and pins that's really hurting the brand. We talk about how they look and feel, but think about how long these things will last. I doubt these will survive 30 years like the solidly-built G1's! And you can't even blame it on GPS, this time!
