TFW2005 member Nevermore has done some sleuthing and uncovered a derth of information on the future of the Transformers Hero Mashers line.
The line will carry on for the forseeable future with Robots in Disguise themed releases, starting with the set of Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Steeljaw (who are out in Canada), and then continue with the three we saw at Toy Fair 2015 – Optimus Prime, Strongarm, and Clampdown. There’s new images of the latter three, via Hasbro Canada, for you to enjoy.
From there Amazon Canada has posted listings of what appears to be six more releases in the line, which will give us Hero Mashers versions of characters like Quillfire, Thunderhoof, Fracture, Bixk (we assume they mean the lobster, Bisk), Jazz, and Drift.
It sounds as though the Hero Mashers have a long future ahead of them – and also, that this may be the only way for fans to get versions of some of these characters to add to their collection.
Nevermore
No it doesn't.
The previous wave is released in Canada. These ones are just product previews.

So any Canadian tfw2005'ers find these at stores yet? It says released in Canada right?
Nocturne
It's a toy where you take it apart and mix it up with other toys to make amusing shapes and characters.
And the appearance of the female character is what you find ridiculous… Why should she have to look like anything? Part of this line has an actual Crab as a character. Aren't you going to complain that it doesn't look 'robot' enough. At least Strongarm looks like a Transformer.
And I need that Optimus. He's adorable.
Gingerchris
Yes indeed. Swap out his hands with his various wrist-mounted weapons. Mix and match his original green design with his later blue one. Add in DH2 Minion and give him his various weapon arms.
It's rare to have both TF and Marvel sharing a toyline concept so this would certainly be the perfect opportunity to have a Death's Head figure that can go with TF of the same line.
RodimusZero
Look I guess what I'm saying is that she doesn't even look remotely female. The least they could have done (since the torso is the main piece, and you wouldn't necessarily need to worry about size differences) is resize the torso to be a bit narrower or shorter in comparison to the others. I mean, even if you were to say she's a female body builder, that triangular upper body is kind of ridiculous…
Solrac333
And more crap in the toy aisle.
GreednGluttony
might get some of the decepticons at some point if they are marked down
jestermon
They look nice, yes I think you are since they are plastic toys for children.
Braddock
These are out in the UK (and on a deal in Tesco), the RID Bee is a great looking toy, and fun to swap with the previous Masher Bee, of all my TFs I am enjoying these most at the moment, including the fact I can swap bits and play together with my boy's Marvel Mashers (he has had Starscream's wings on Iron Man for weeks).
Autovolt 127
I hope not. They deserve decent figures.
TacticalBacon
Clampdown's definitely seen better days…
Deceptigtar
how the hell is clampdown suppose to stand?
Thundershot
No, but I saw a waitress at Olive Garden yesterday that I had to look at her name badge to know she was female….
Just out of curiosity, because I honestly don't know… Are there any butch-looking or chubby Barbie (or whatever other Monster High or Equestrial) dolls? I mean, those lines are aimed at girls, so if they don't have any non-female or chubby looking females, why should a boy's toy line?
Snake_eyes1975
Thunderhoof….Is one of the coolest new names. I dont care for RID stuff..but that name rocks.
SPLIT LIP
Clampdown's foot and claw are swapped.
Christ even when they don't transform the interns somehow fuck up the photos.
Because there's more to being a woman than sex appeal?
Have you ever walked up to a butch-looking woman and asked why her parents bothered making her female?
VictoryLeo19
As one of only a dozen probably collectors of Hero Mashers, YESSS! I'm glad to see more stuff in this line. I'll get all of them. Well done Hasbro. I'm assuming Thunderhoof is going to be awesome.
DrOblivian
the only thing i want to come out of this hero masher line is another Death's Head in the marvel portion of the line, though honestly he would fit in the TF portion of the line too…
HERO MASHERS DEATH'S HEAD! HERO MASHERS DEATH'S HEAD! *continues to chant*
Jalaguy
Here's Clampdown correctly assembled:
The original stock photo uses his forearms as thighs and has his left foot and claw swapped.
Grimwing
Well I think Strongarm is the first female character in hero mashers anything.
So even in the context of this odd little line that's progressive.
They will probably do a Princess leia in Hero Mashers star wars. Hopefully the Bossk disguise.
FanimusMaximus
Finally, a reason to buy Hero Mashers.
Also it's nice that I don't have to depend on the RID line for Thundehoof figures now.
