We previously reported that McDonald’s would be running a Robots in Disguise Happy Meal promotion. We can now confirm that the promotion has started!
McDonald’s are offering eight different Robots in Disguise promo figures – all non-transforming, but featuring an action feature. They are available with Happy Meals, or as a set of eight in the Customer Appreciation set.

Yeah, the guy went to where the store the happy meal bags, and shuffled through them. He never to a "box" of toys and checked through that.

Or they think (whether they have been told, or just assumed, I won't say) that each item has a strict "street date" that means they can't release figures too early, whether or not they actually have them in stock, and so won't tell customers that they actually have them, since they're not supposed to let folks have them anyway.

Every McDonald's that I have ever been to for Happy Meal toys has had a worker go in the back and bring a large box to the counter and every single time the entire line was in the box. It sounds like your McDonald's workers are just being lazy or don't realize there are more in the back.
GreednGluttony
got the optimus, its not bad for a md's toy, i mean, what do you expect?
Slingshot
Walked to McD's after school today, and they only had Swipes and Underbite
I really want the clampdown figure, is it getting released soon?
gabumon
it's just the same cost as 8 figures. not more or less.
Lucs
How much does the customer appreciation set cost?
gabumon
some McDonalds get a few complete sets to sell to customers who collect the figures. just ask for it at the front. when they got it out for me, it was a white box white blue labeling, and it actually said "Customer Appreciation" set on it. So it's a McDonalds specific term. Might need to ask for a manager if you get blank stares, but not all stores get them.

What is the customer appreciation pack?
Lazerwave
I've already got Grimlock. I want to get Underbite too. I'm thinking about Bumblebee and Optimus also.
HammerOfThor
I went to McD's after a concert last night and got a Happy Meal toy for the heck of it. It turned out to be Bumblebee. It's weapon looks cool, but a non-transforming Transformer makes me miss my older transforming HM toys. I need to dig them up.
gabumon
Fracture looks cool in my opinion too, nice paint apps!
Autovolt 127
God that's depressing. I really want this toyline to get good.
gabumon
just ask, actually I called ahead so I didn't waste a trip. not all of their stores get them.
jerminator
I'm curious about this customer appreciation pack thing too. How do you go about getting that?
Beastwarsfan95
These two sum up my thoughts perfectly.
Hollywood Hoist
My son received Grimlock and I picked up a Bumblebee. Each figure seems to have it's own gimmick. These are perfectly fine for McDonalds toys, not amazing, but not bad either.
Solrac333
Parents complained that they were too complicated and so Hasbro decided to make it simpler. 0 steps!
jream
Yup exactly
Vulcan
They look like the regular RID's being sold at department stores to me.
