Transformers Rescue Bots Voice Cast Revealed

Following on from the initial information we received toward the end of last week, The Hub has sent us the full voice cast list for Transformers Rescue Bots. As well as the previously confirmed voice actors (Please note: John DiMaggio was included in error.) we can now confirm that the cast will be joined by Jeff Bennett, Parvesh Cheena, D.C. Douglas, Élan Garfias, Jason Marsden, Shannon McKain, Diamond White and Imari Williams. This press release also confirms that Peter Cullen will reprise his role as Optimus Prime when he makes cameo appearances in Transformers Rescue Bots.

I do wonder if some of them might jump across to work on Prime as Blum's doing both shows? Also it's interesting that the Rescue Bots are specifically the four new guys - maybe Optimus and Bumblebee won't be the main focus? I find it hard to believe but you never know.

Well, at least we now know where Starscream went.

I'll try and look out for it on Youtube. I know it's probably for kids but I'm kinda interested.

Can't really say I'm really interested in this childrens show as I am with Prime, but I might check it out. I'm going to assume Rescue Bots won't air immediately before or after Transformers: Prime and airs early in the morning because the age difference in that blink of a second would be rediculous.

If it's not Peter Cullen, then whoever doing the voice of Optimus Prime on the Trailer shown at the Hasbro's Investor Day is doing a pretty awesome job.

I for one hope Rescue Bots have their own continuity. Why tie it to Prime? It's a younger kids show. With this voice cast, I'm really looking forward to the show. I'll be watching that day this December.

I'm going to allow myself to hold out hope that Starscream will make an appearance in this show because of Blum's involvement even though I know that doesn't mean anything of the sort. I just want a Rescue Bot figure of him.

The first TF show for little kids? Nice idea, because it would be useful for effectively imprinting TF as early childhood memories for new generations. And I'm glad that it have more-less classic stylistic (but, sadly, superdeformed, like that Robot Heroes book and toys).
But here appears the question: it means Hasbro still planning to continue to make shows (and toys) with classic look, or Hasbro decided that classic style is retarded and from now it's useful for toddlers shows only?

I don't interested in Rescue Bots much, if it's scenario is really on the level of Gobots and most childish episodes of RiD. But have a hope that the plot will appear surprisingly more universal. It would be good if creators will start from simple plot and eventually develop it to more complicated levels in further episodes.

Think of the 1st few eps of animated, The Autobots will be cheerfully helping humans deal with things humans can't. Decepticons might not even be mentioned. (although maybe they'll secretly be behind some things?)

We've all become jaded transfans if we can't apreciate the simple joy of driving a firetruck that turns into an awsome fire-fighting robot.

It could end up as mediocre as Go-Go-Go-Bots, which is fine, it's for kids. Doesn't mean I have to watch it.

So is it going to be one robot per ep - or is someone like Boulder going to be the main character, will Bumblebee talk or beep ?
If Optimus is barely in it then who will feature and how will they balance the show pairs of robots on a mission or all the Humans and one robot ?

I also wonder if the voice cast list will reveal if there's more than 6 Autobots in the show.
