Transformers Rescue Bots Hoist and Medix Official Toy Images

Seems like Medix has Blades Partner and Hoist has a repaint of Optimus Prime's partner.

I hope they have new mould tools to go with them both - it might even show then on the back of the box.

The blue Human looks like it's going to be a new toy as well - even if it's only a repaint of the Drill or Hammer tool or something like that.

I'm surprised they named a blue tow truck Hoist when they just reclaimed the trademark for Tow-Line.

hoist's colors look really nice. medix doesn't look half bad either.

Does it mean they will appear on Rescue Bots show? I want to see them!
(But since the toyline doesn't match with show exactly, I can't sure...)

Ha, Medix looks way too happy. I'm used to my doc bots being old and grumpy. I dig the new characters though.

I've been catching up on the episodes lately, and think these new characters would fit in nicely.

Medix does look a little creepy-happy with that silly grin and huge eyes. His alt mode looks pretty boss though.

Now all we need is a motorcycle! Now that we have an ambulance, if we had a motorcycle I'd definitely start making a Defensor out of these dudes.

Hoist's color scheme is cool, but did Medix need to have such a similar layout to Ratchet?

I am LOVING Hoist's look. Simple but effective.

Medix is okay, but I agree that he looks too much like Ratchet.

Regardless, I sincerely hope these guys make an appearance on the show itself. Don't get me wrong, I love the cast that's already there, but these two could add quite a bit to the show (especially Medix, being a doctor and all.)

These look pretty good, I'm both surprised and impressed Hasbro didn't go for the G1 look as far as Hoist goes.

As for Medix, I can't help but laugh at the fact his teeth are yellow. As in, the shade of yellow teeth get from smoking cigarettes.

When are they going to be released?

Maybe some new Rescue Bots are found in space (or on Earth, since everything else from Cybertron seems to wind up there). Maybe Medix is just Ratchet's toy for this line? hmm?

I would have preferred a G1 colored Hoist, but more Rescue Bots is A-okay with me.

I like Hoist...his blue and green colors work nicely together. For some reason, looking at Medix...I keep getting a feminine feeling from it...

It does have a kind of 'soft' look that could suggest that, but I ain't making any bets. Medix seems to have the Animated Ratchet gut going on there (unless it is female, and keeps the bosom down there )

Oh sure. MEDIX gets the heartbeat symbol on his side. But TFP Ratchet? Noooo.

These Two will probably show up in season Two of rescue bots cartoon series. Season Two will probably be all about Hoist & Medix trying to fit in the team.

Boulder & Hoist will either be dueling rivals due to them both being construction vechicles. or Boulder & hoist will have a master & student relationship,where one teaches the newbie the ropes.

I wonder which human will drive & get paired up with medix & hoist in the cartoon. that good scientist seems like a perfect fit for medix. My speculation is the human chiefs family relatives like long lost sons,daughters or cousins stop by & join the crew.

Yes, I know they're for very young children (supposedly), but so far almost every RH bot looks pretty bad to me (compared even to MFT and Hasbro Go-Bots). With a few more joints, Medix could almost pass for a regular Transformer.

The rescue bots toys are all awesome and have the highest quality of any of Hasbros current main line transformers. I ordered the case from BBTS last month.

Bigger than most toys coming out from the other lines lol, except leaders. They're for kids, so they have to be bigger, keep from swallowing crap.

You know what we need more than Doc. Greene joining the team? Him deciding to try copying Morocco and turning the not-Delorean into a Rescue Bot. Something like "Circuit the Tech-Support Bot". That would kick so much ass.

Well, quality control is probably easier when each toy has about 4 moving parts.

That is true but the plastic is also better and these guys have great paint apps compared to really lacking paint apps in Prime and Generations. As far as size goes, I put my spare Boulder in with my TFC Hercules robots and he fits just right with their scale - so that is small voyager or large deluxe.

Agreed. I have bought all of the bots in the line and am happy to buy more. Even the small human packs are kinda neat.

Haven't bought any of the playsets.

To me, RB's don't exactly have a 'voyager' or 'deluxe' class size...they're usually about the same size as a voyager tho..and some of the bigger ones remind me of the Stompin' Optimus and Bee toys from the movies.

These bots probably will be somewhere between deluxe and voyager tho, based on the packaging that was shown. The hard part is finding them in the stores, WM around here has pretty much stopped having shelf space for them, maybe TRU will have these bots.
