Take this with a heavy dose of skepticism, but Hasbro Studio’s website has updated with pages for the various Hasbro Studios shows, including Transformers Rescue Bots and Transformers Robots in Disguise.
For Transformers Rescue Bots, it is mentioned that the show has 78, 22 minute episodes – doing the math, that works out at 3 seasons each with 26 episodes.
That would imply that the currently airing third season of the show would be the last, owing to the series reaching the magic number of episodes (65) that allows a show to move into syndication.
On the other hand, it is also possible that this page is simply showing the total number of Rescue Bots episodes that have been commissioned.
On an aside, it is also mentioned that the new series, Transformers Robots in Disguise, will also run for 78 episodes, or three seasons, with the production of the show being mentioned as covering 2014-16. This might well be the ambition, but we think the show actually making it to this number of episodes will depend on how well the show goes across early on.
In both instances, it is a case of wait and see.

My bad. It's not uncommon for a female to voice a pre-pubecent kid since their voice doesn't change. (IE: Bart Simpson.)

Heh, Elán Garfias is a he, not as she.

I haven't watching RB for a while, I have to marathon it to catch up but the last time I remember the story lines were a lot better the TFP

Just watched "Switcharoo" with the kid, and although it's not must see TV, I think you're wrong about it not giving a nod to parents.
Listening to the cast do impersonations of each other was hillarious, (they could have done the old way of just having the wrong voice come out of the wrong character). It really put an amusing spin on an old trope.
(BTW, Chief Burns' LaVar Burton impersonation was SPOT on, I really had trouble with that. While the voice actress for Cody struggled to pull off Boulder. Sounded like a girl trying to be a big monster.)
Also there was a "Not Yakity Sax bit" that flew WAY over the kids head.
Wild Eevee
Well there's a first time for everything.

None of the info I'm seeing seems to definitively indicate that the show is ending, just state what's been ordered already.
That said, it wouldn't surprise if it were the end. Toy-minded cartoons just don't last that long. Excluding the G1 three-episode "Rebirth", no TF show has gone more than three seasons. 78 episodes already makes Rescue Bots the longest running TF show since the original. It's quite a mark. They've run out their toyline, run it in repaints, and extended it with a somewhat major redesign in Season three with Dinobot modes, which tied in with the (expected-to-be) popular movie.
With RiD designed to skew younger as it is, and no word of another gimmick on the horizon, I'd be surprised to hear an announcement of a Season 4, even an abridged one.
It's been a great run, though, more than I ever expected from a Playskool toyline. Here's hoping Season three goes out with a bang, and that the characters can manage to stick around in TF lore somewhere in future years.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away…

Just want to say that rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. #TFRescueBots
So, you know, don't panic.

Technically G1 itself has 103 episodes if you count TF:TM's presence in Season 5 (best of/recaps) as episodes cut into "Day" (1-5) parts.
I'm sensing myself that this might be the end of RB. The toys available now are mostly non-transforming and the ones that do transform and are relevant with their dino forms are Spychanger/Minicon sized. The main point of the show is really to sell product and they are veering considerably from the rescue theme currently with not a huge amount of offerings.
Still I'd prefer official word and that'll come someday. It's made it's mark in surpassing a lot of other TF entities in episodes and in the amount of years it's been around. I believe a 4th season is still possible if all the factors that have come together before can be agreed on to continue further.

My son loves playing with the human cast. They are integrated in almost every story he creates with the Rescue Bots.

I love D.C. Douglas so I hate to see him go, but I wonder if that means RiD is replacing it…
GreednGluttony
I'm just hoping we will see rescuebot characters in later tf projects, they seem to be some of the most developed characters in the entire franchise, I mean who wouldn't want to see more of heatwave or chase?
Coffee
Aww, oh well. I really liked much of Rescue Bots, it's a shame to see it go.
SpinalCord
It’s badly worded, I get why they mentioned the 65 now.
MaxxieOD
Season 3 has 26 eps, like the previous seasons, which is 78 total. So no.
SpinalCord
If at the end of this season they’ll be at 65, and 78 episodes have been commissioned, wouldn't that mean another season of 13 more episodes needs to be made?

If it ain't got singing ponies, Hasbro ain't give a damn.
FanimusMaximus
I believe it, no Transformers series has ever gone beyond 3 seasons.
ZapRowsdower
I hope we get something better.
I REEEEEEAAAAALLLY tried to like Rescue Bots. REALLY. Even for my kid, who's 3.
But that show is unwatchable, IMO. It's just TOO Playskool for my tastes, and by that I mean that it feels incredibly dumbed down and pandering to its obvious intended audience (children). They could have integrated Cody in a more believable way, and I while I LOVE the VA for Heatwave, he's incredibly out of place in this cartoon (way too hardcore for the actual character). The animation was also a bit too flash-y for me, as though some college kids whipped it together for a semester project, on their home PCs.
But hey, they tried something new and it didn't feature BB and Optimus… which is odd, considering how they mass produce those two in every clothing, toy, and knick-knack that you can think of. That's probably the biggest criticism you can aim at this program: why delete the two characters you claim are your biggest money-makers? I know for a fact that kids are just drawn to Optimus Prime and Bumblebee… so it makes little sense that they didn't bank on some synergy by putting them in the show.
Does anyone actually play with the human cast? I know my kid just tosses Cody away to play with BB or Optimus Rescue Bots… despite how they're not really on the show… [SHRUG]
