It must be new stock day in Toys R Us, because we’ve got another sighting! Toys R Us San Jose in California has the Rescue Bots Epic Optimus Prime on shelves. Standing 22 inches tall, this one retails for $30 and has an opening chest to accommodate the 2 inch PVC figures. Big thanks to JukeOutlander for the heads up!

That's pretty neat. It looks good for young kids.
megatroptimus
Saw those ones at 2 diff TRU already, they're pretty neat.
moreprimeland
Nope, think we better leave any discussions about that out of this thread.
adambman
Have you seen the rear view? He brings his own shelves!
Yobuster
that's big and probably good for a kid to toss around but man……
thunder117
That is some SERIOUS fucking hollowness.
At least those Jetfire haters can hate on this now.
EnergonWaffles
First thought was: "well his legs would make an ok Kreo shelf…."
JukeOutlander
I wish it was Jumbo Machinder quality but sadly the back of the arms are hollow as well, and no stickers on the back. Updated with pics.
dinorobo
This thing plus Chomp n Stomp Grimlock… where are we supposed to keep them?
Shark Jumper
How much stuff can I stuff in him? He'd make a cool toy box I guess…
dinorobo
Headline says 2 inch.

I wonder how long until someone buys one, puts that creepy revoltech woody in the chest, and takes pictures in a dimly lit room?
Huffington
Agreed. And after those Jumbo Machinder Transformers never actually materialized, it's cool to see something similar.
BowserPrime
Oh…
So, you can make him do The Monkey?
Murasame
That looks actually cool.
Huffington
Bah. Thanks for taking pics though. I thought maybe the hollow legs were at least fully molded. Oh well. I'm still intrigued.
JukeOutlander
I'll take additional pics later. I think it has some stickers on the back but the arms are plain and the back of the legs are hollow.
Huffington
What's the back look like?
JukeOutlander
If only he had a sound gimmick with Peter Cullen narrating legends of cybertron, then he'd be really epic.
JukeOutlander
They had him up on the highest shelf, so I had to hold him to take a pic lol.
