Rescue Bots Rescan Salvage Found at US Retail

Posted on 01-29-2015 at 03:00 PM by ORIO under Rescue Bots
salvage2 Now some new information regarding Rescue Bots and a minor follow up from a story from yesterday! Yesterday, a new Rescue Bots Rescan Blurr was spotted, along with Rescan Optimus Prime, in Hong Kong. Which lead us to momentarily wonder what happened to Rescue Bots Salvage, as he had been previously shown to share a wave with the new Optimus. Well fear not, as 2005 Board member ShinHadouConvoy has found Salvage at his local Target in Dallas, TX. This Garbage truck bot will also join Hightide and Blurr among the new Rescue Bots characters. One remaining question remains is if Rescan Optimus is shipping with Salvage, just Blurr, or with both? This newsie is confident we'll find out the answer soon.

For now, click the title bar to discuss new Rescue bots and if they've been sighted in your area!

Rescue Bots Blurr Revealed and Released at Hong Kong Retail

Posted on 01-28-2015 at 08:39 AM by Sol Fury under Rescue Bots
27493683d1422421246-rescue-bots-rescan-optimus-blurr-found-hong-kong-11 Here's a pleasant surprise - a new Transformers toy we knew nothing about has arrived at retail! TFW2005 member Kaiser reports that he has found a Rescue Bots version of Blurr at retail in Hong Kong. Blurr is a flashy looking purple race car with the style and aesthetics of the other recent Rescue Bots releases.

He's been found alongside the new mold Optimus Prime, who is a new sighting at retail in Hong Kong. There's been no sighting of Salvage, though, who was also previously teased as coming soon - so perhaps Blurr has raced into the new assortment ahead of Salvage?

Rescue Bots Season 3 Episodes 11-14 all airing on 1 February?

Posted on 01-21-2015 at 06:18 PM by Sol Fury under Rescue Bots
888470_transformers_rescue_bots This one is a bit of a mystery, so take it as a rumor for now.

TV listings including Zap2it and LocateTV are listing that the next four all-new episodes of Transformers Rescue Bots are all set to air on 1 February. Four episodes, back to back, starting at 7am, if this is to be believed.

The four episodes listed are Season 3 Episode 11 Did you see what I thaw?, 12 The Attack of Humungado, 13 Thieves Like Us and 14 Time After Time.

Take this as you find it - the listings on Zap2it are unclear on the latter three episodes, and we have reports that at least one fellow fan is seeing the first four episodes in these slots on their DVR. But if you're a Rescue Bots fan, you may want to set these up to record, just in case new episodes do show up at the given times.

Rescue Bots Season 1 Box Set Confirmed for Australia

Posted on 01-21-2015 at 06:08 PM by Sol Fury under Rescue Bots
bhe5999-cover-bhe-website Further to our earlier report, Beyond Home Entertainment has now confirmed that they will be releasing a complete Season 1 DVD boxed set for Transformers Rescue Bots. The set collects all 26 episodes of the show's first season, and is expected to be released on 2 March 2015.

Beyond Home Entertainment has also posted a listing for a DVD "Serve and Protect", which is also due to be released on 2 March 2015, and is expected to feature 7 episodes, based on the DVD's runtime of 154 minutes. It's thought that these will be the first seven episodes of the show's second season, given that Beyond are releasing DVDs with the show's entire run in order.

US fans, you may wish to find a way of importing these if you want the whole run of Transformers Rescue Bots on DVD, as Shout! Factory have announced they have no plans to do complete season boxed sets for the US.

Rescue Bots Season 2 Episode Chief Woodrow to Air January 18 and January 21 2015

Posted on 01-11-2015 at 05:24 AM by Sol Fury under Rescue Bots
888470_transformers_rescue_bots Transformers Rescue Bots Season 2 episode "Chief Woodrow" is set to air on 18 January, with a rerun on 21 January. This episode, like The Riders of Midwinter, was skipped over in the original airing of the second season of the show, but unlike that episode which was shown alongside season 3, this episode is being inserted into reruns of season 2.

Via Zap2it, we have learned that there will be an episode airing on the 18th and repeating on the 21st - and via LocateTV, we can confirm that the repeat on the 21st (and therefore the original airing from the 18th) will be the skipped episode.

According to LocateTV, the episode will feature Chief Burns' oddball brother, Woodrow, taking up the reins while his brother is out of town.

The episode is set to air at 7:30am EST on the 18th and 8:30am EST on the 21st. Be sure to tune in for this much-delayed new episode!

Rumor - Transformers Rescue Bots Season 3 to be the last?

Posted on 01-10-2015 at 06:40 PM by Sol Fury under Rescue Bots
TFRB_TOP Take this with a heavy dose of skepticism, but Hasbro Studio's website has updated with pages for the various Hasbro Studios shows, including Transformers Rescue Bots and Transformers Robots in Disguise.

For Transformers Rescue Bots, it is mentioned that the show has 78, 22 minute episodes - doing the math, that works out at 3 seasons each with 26 episodes.

That would imply that the currently airing third season of the show would be the last, owing to the series reaching the magic number of episodes (65) that allows a show to move into syndication.

On the other hand, it is also possible that this page is simply showing the total number of Rescue Bots episodes that have been commissioned.

On an aside, it is also mentioned that the new series, Transformers Robots in Disguise, will also run for 78 episodes, or three seasons, with the production of the show being mentioned as covering 2014-16. This might well be the ambition, but we think the show actually making it to this number of episodes will depend on how well the show goes across early on.

In both instances, it is a case of wait and see.

Posted on 12-04-2014 at 06:55 PM by Sol Fury under Rescue Bots

S3 E11 Quarry's Quarry
