In some Transformers news that was rumored sometime ago, here, we now have confirmation from Pinball game company, STERN Pinball that a new Transformers Pinball game, is indeed coming. The company has also put up an awesome teaser trailer for the game that you can view below.
Would you rock some old school pinball with a Transformers theme? Sound off in the discussion thread after the jump!

That's one ugly-ass robot.

Make a pinball about a movie that made billions or on G1 where there is a small audience. Gee, which one would be the more wise decision?
Stern has been making pins all along since Williams and Bally closed. There are pinball tournaments all around the world throughout the year. We just had our world PAPA tourney a couple weeks ago. Go to pinballrankings.com for more info. Right now I'm ranked 21st out of maybe over 10,000 players.
That's why they're doing limited editions now to cater to the home buyer. With George's past track record of design on games, you couldn't ask for anyone better.
I like Shadow too. Got one in my basement that is home use only with some proto parts on it.
I miss the original concepts too.
No pricing yet on this pin. Will know something by September.

Pinball machines are only cool if they give you bouncy balls when you win.

jgoss
looks cool but i hope it's a good one

I wish good things for them. Especially because their plans include original themes as well as licences. That's been my problem with pinball for the last several years. All the games have been licensed properties and no original concepts.

Me too! We used to get pizza at Pizza King and they always had varying pinball machines thru the years. I definitely remember a Freddy Krueger pinball machine…..scared the crap outta me when I was a small kid…..
Necro Prime
Killer! I love pinball! I played that at arcades almost as much as I played The Avengers and the Mortal Kombat series growing up. The Shadow pinball was an awesome one. } : D

Sad. I personally wish Jersey Jack got to make it. They seem more promising.
Stern's games have been cheap and just for profit lately.

I didn't even know they still made pinball machines. I figured all the ones out there were just ones that were manufactured between the 60's-90's. That is great news! Hell yes, I would buy one! That is, assuming I had the money to spend on one or the space……
ROKETOPUNCH
I wish it was G1 and not the movie.
SPLIT LIP
I'm in love with that dude's workspace.

As much as stern is a big company in pinball these days, their products are a little generic for what I feel is as great a franchise for pinball potential as transformers. Still, that's more a state of the pinball industry than Stern, and at the very least it will be a top-of-the-line machine with a few interesting concepts.
I'd be lying if I didn't say I wanted a machine more like "The Shadow" than "Tron:Legacy" though.

Ummm this was not first rumored on July 6th
I posted this news back in the beginning of June

Any idea how much a new pinball machine sells for? This would be awesome in my basement.
