Some images have been posted by Felipe León Nájera in the Transformers Colombia Facebook group showing off a couple of new releases in the Transformers Hero Mashers line. The figures shown are Dinobot Slug and Soundwave, both based on their Generation 1 incarnations. Slug like Grimlock is shown in his dinosaur mode, while Soundwave is in his robot mode. These are both part of the “deluxe” series of Hero Mashers which include additional parts to further customize the figures – Slug has a Snarl tail and Soundwave has a Sideswipe arm. A portent of what is to come or just cool extras?
Lazerwave
They are already on Hasbro site.

Not that we know of. Everything currently announced is on the TFWiki article, and we don't know at this point if the line will continue into 2015.

I like it that Soundwave's left gun resembles Buzzsaw.

So is there any plans to release the rest of the parts to the partial character these sets have included? Sure would like the rest of Snarl and not just his tail.
Fallout
if you attach the snarl tail to slag you get aoe slag, lol.

BigBadToyStore expects Wave 2 of both the basic and 'upgrade' Hero Mashers to arrive this month.

I know I'm probably one of five people on the planet who collect these, but have we gotten word when the newer waves are supposed to be showing up? I feel like Hasbro is pumping out wave after wave of the Marvel ones, but nothing of the TF line. h

Okay. That's a STRONG argument.

I've been resisting these things for a long time, passed on Grimlock in TRU today, but it was really hard lol.
Now that "Swoop" & "Slag" are available too, it's getting pretty hard to pass them up. They all look like really fun toys and even if I don't re-combine them with other Mashers, they have enough accessories to clip on them to give them some playability.
I'm hoping if we're seeing Soundwave, that means we'll see some of his cassette tapes in the line too. Rat bat & Ravage would look awesome in this style. Whoa, no wait: we need to see Sharkticons for this line. If they made them I might loose my mind.

Anti Spark
Will Dinobot Snarl be part of this line?
MegaDolrailer
Looks like Soundwave's head is directly based off of MP-13's sculpt
Bass X0
You wanted them to transform and also be mashers?
Bass X0
That doesn't mean anything. No other parts from other characters have materialised as proper toys. If anything, it means Sideswipe and Snarl WON'T be done as new toys; that they will only exist as a single limb in other toy's packages.
Scourgatron
Soundwave looks great until you get to the baby legs.

Dare I put Slug on my Claassics shelf?

Hero Mashers = big cheaper versions of Revoltech
Once TFCon is over, and funds are replenished, I'll get some more of these.
Knightsword
That red arm looks to be more Inferno than Sideswipe, its bulky and has a cannon attached to it.

Soundwave's legs look disproportionately short. Not having seen any of the other figures from, I assume they're all like that.
Kraken
These are so cool. I'm finding it really hard to resist them.
Kujo1597
I have the Green Goblin from the Marvel version of this line and took a comparison shot. I think it's pretty safe to assume that the lines will be the same in size. Not being able to mix the lines would be a missed opportunity.
I must ask you to forgive the quality, my mind hasn't been all there lately so I wanted to do it while I remembered.
