Overhaulimus:
Awesome, will have to add this to my TF novel collection.
grimlock1972:
ill be grabbing it
tobuttica:
I'll buy that. I didn't even know there were novels until ROTF came out. I've been snatching 'em up when I can find them.
Omnius:
It's not by Alan Dean Foster, so there's hope for it yet.
TRANS+CRAZY:
Definitely going to buy it. I love reading TF novels.
Victorysabre:
Here's hoping it's good. I've regretted every TF book I've bought except for the "Legends" short stories collection. And those were paper back! If I pay HC price and it's as bad as the Hardwired trilogy or the movie books, I'll be sad.
Delta:
will these have anything to do with those god-awful movies?
ZacWilliam:
Thoughts:
1) Cool. Always nice to see TFs get another shot at succeeding as a novel. Hope to Primus it's better than the ones we've gotten in the past. Have to check what this guy has written.
2) Wonder if its G1 or Movie based? The former would be more interesting to me if it is done well, but the later seems more likely, in which case it's gonna have to work a bit to capture my interest.
3) Given the vaguely biblical subtitle I wonder if this could tie-in to Hasbro's Q&A hints about telling the story of the 13 soon?
blackout501st:
i wonder what this novil will deal with. ROTF sequal? G1?

What awful movies are you talking about? I donīt know what are you are talking about...
starscream1701:
Interesting, very interesting. I will have to invest in this. I've only ever read the movie tie-ins so this will be something new.
Night Flame:
Fan Fiction > Published Transformers Novels.
I wish this wasn't so, because I do so love a good book.
JKahn913:
What if it's just about the Transformers leaving Egypt?
Kranix:
well heres to hoping it is good. if it is movie based it is a no buy for me
Laserbot:
if its a continuation from the end of the movie ide like that! the movie kinda ended quick after everything was said and done...

It's okay, I'm trying to forget about them too.
Primus:
I'm more hopefully for what this could represent rather then the actual book itself. Being a hardcover book this could be Del Rey's first step towards a larger expanded universe. For the time being, I am not counting the paperback movie tie-in novels as I don't think they stand on their own.
If I had to guess I would say this book is based on the movie-verse but takes place in the distant past regarding the TF's "Exodus" from Cybertron.

i hope thats what it's about,
G1Wheeljack:
Interesting, it's probably Movie based being so close to the release of the 3rd but I'm hoping G1.
Alienbot:
LOL, this was a title I had once thought would've been good for TF2: back in 2007 I was hoping the film would really delve into the implications of the Transformers heading to Earth as their new home. Nice surprise to know they're doing an original novel that's not a prequel to promote the next film, but a standalone adventure in the meantime ala Reign of Starscream and Nefarious.
shibamura_prime:
Has anyone here by chance read any of the author's past works? I'm curious now.

YES PLEASE! Telling the story in a novel would allow much more detail than a comic miniseries would.
jacobot:
Exodus is the spaceship which carried the Mini-Cons from Cybertron to Earth.
Ironman:
I didn't even know that TF had novels out.

Where can I purchase the ROTF novel? I heard it was great.
ThundeR-CrackeR:
Hmmm this could be interesting

Might pick it up when it comes out ...

Must be that crappy 1986 movie, yeah I think itīs that one.
Canīt be the new movies, cause those were enjoyable, so that leaves that movie as the crappy one.
Starscreamer217:
Could this be a sequel to ROTF? Only time will tell...
The Veiled Threat was a great treat for me, since the Autobots were much more prominent, and the humans weren't all annoying characters. It was also a great insight in the daily life of NEST.
Here's to hoping its a sequel like The Veiled Threat!
Digilaut:
No thanks. I don't want to read.
What? oh yeah, I actually have a personal slave reading me all these internet posts out loud.
Omega Charge:
I'm quite interested. I'd love a sequel to ROTF.
Embryoyo:
I am very interested, and I really hate reading

but this isn't a buy for me yet till I find out exactly what it's about and if it's the movie-verse or not. That's what I really want to know.
Mechafire:
Interesting. I'll probably prick it up.
Oracle_Aesir:
I doubt this is movie-related, since its not near the release date for TF3 and stuff, so I do hope it is to do with the 13 (pity that means we wont have visualizations of them though)
jgoss:
27 bucks is alot but i'll pick it up. i did read veiled and rotf and liked them both. and to answer your question shilbamuia prime no i havn't read any another books by this author does he have others?
moreprimeland:
I've placed this one on my wish list!!
Triceradon:
Hm.
I like to read. I like Transformers.
Nothing stopping me from pickin' this up.
FMA1987:
yeha i will probably pick this up
